goat duelist for sure bro not a baiter at all
Ignoring the fact that first deaths alone don't say much about how much of a "baiter" someone is, this is literally just cherry picking stats unless you include his first kills too and examine it in the context of the games.
Like I can just turn around and go, "Well yeah, he has a low first death because he always wins his first duel. He takes the first duels consistently, he just wins them often so he has a low first death". This stat means nothing by itself
the argument that "He doesn't die first so he's bad" is the most absurd argument of all time.
he currently sits 2nd in first kills per round in the league https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/2095/champions-tour-2024-americas-stage-2
He is 86/38 in fk/fd those stats are ABSOULTLY insane.
Just because he doesn't die when he takes his first engagements, doesn't mean he's bad LOL
Your IQ is probably low, so I will help you.
Your hypothesis: Aspas is a baiter.
Definition of bait in the context of FPS: consists of letting your teammate die to get the trade.
Your thesis and premise: Aspas is a baiter based on the premise that his First Death stats are low.
My counterargument: Your premise fails miserably in trying to prove that Aspas is a baiter. Low First Death stats only prove that he dies little in his first duels. The premise that the reason for low First Death stats is due to baiting is only an indirect relationship, which cannot be treated as concrete proof. Another indirect relationship that may exist in this case (which contradicts yours) is that Aspas has low First Death stats due to the fact that he simply wins his first duels.
Your argument that Aspas is a baiter based on his low First Death stats is an example of assuming causation from correlation. Low First Death doesn't directly prove baiting; it could also mean he's just good at winning first duels. This is called a spurious correlation or false causality.
Confirmation bias (also confirmatory bias, myside bias,[a] or congeniality bias[2]) is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms or supports one's prior beliefs or values.[3] People display this bias when they select information that supports their views, ignoring contrary information, or when they interpret ambiguous evidence as supporting their existing attitudes. The effect is strongest for desired outcomes, for emotionally charged issues, and for deeply entrenched beliefs.
This braindead argument is only logical inside ur head. There's no point in pointing out that it's confirmation bias if you can't prove it, because confirmation bias naturally only becomes confirmation bias when it's proven. If you think he's ignoring any facts or statistics that contradict his beliefs, this can only be proven if you show them.
yeah but i dont care about it because he came back.
people can go through bad times but if they came back were they ever really bad?
tenz had to go through a lot of shit for 2 years and he came back an amazing player, i count that as longevity. if he was good in 2021 and good in 2024 i think hes been good all along ykwim?
Kind of? I personally prefer consistency cause it includes longevity while also taking into consideration how well they played during that time period, but I can sort of see what you're getting at. Tenz not performing nearly as well in half of valorant's time span kind of makes me not consider him as much as the other two, but we are all obligated to our own opinions.
the aspas hate reminds me of olofm in cs - dude was one of the best players in the game for years but people always wanted to diminish how elite he was for whatever reason. same quiet/humble demeanor, focused completely on the game and beloved by all his teammates/opponents his entire career.
haters just gonna hate no matter what game or era.
Yeah but this is a argument you can use to hate for no reason, like.
Aspas allways was chill, even when he was a super weeb in 2021.
I doubt that he is a bad person, literally everyone who meet him, love him.
