I have an argument for that tbh. I think Jp overlooked its own duelist and instead looking for import duelist.

The best example has to be Northeption tbh.
You have yowamu being put on controller because of wolverine( duelist), and yowamu performed badly. But when he played on bc swell he came out swinging( I know the stakes and quality are different , one is playing ay sp1 and the other is playing for qualifier).

And you have thiefy, bro clearly can aim , but he somehow he played sage one Monday, breach on Tuesday, and Reyna on Wednesday. It's like he has no proper role at all.

Tldr, import duelist are being prioritized causing jp duelist value to drop fairly or unfairly

I'm not saying that jp duelist are better than kr duelist. It's just we're devaluing their value not because they're shit, but they're overshadowed

And btw if you're referring to syouta, fennel as a team had a rocky time adjusting with tenn on the team so you may take his performance with a grain of salt
