I can't believe people still hype up TenZ as one of the best players in VALORANT. It’s time we face the facts: TenZ is the most overrated player in the history of this game. Here’s why:

Tenz has his inconsistencies but which pro player doesn't have it except aspas (he too is blamed for being an eco fragger and non-impact kill merchant). Tenz started out as a duelist then his agent got f*cked over by nerfs and meta changes. Then he had a rough patch in life, no stable team roaster (marved was never the solution), rough 2023 and then a change in role. Now even after all of this he is now quite literally the top 2 best Omen in the game if not the best.

Longevity + adaptive + mechanical skills = Tenz.
And about the Hype - there is no hype dude. The support you see for Tenz is his die hard fan following not some viewers attracted to his gameplay because of some flashy moments. His fans are their from 2021 and add the SEN fans to it and you get a fan base that would always cheer for SEN wherever and however they perform.

So stop using the words hype.

You want the #RealTalk. Tenz is a 2 times masters winner and while playing with a different team roaster and different roles. What you gotta say about that?

I think bro meant to say "overhated" because if you'd actually watched matches and looked at the stats this season, yeah he flopped, so did Johnqt, so did zekken (my goat), so did the vibe merchant Zellsis, and so did Sacy. Last year Tenz didn't perform because of his hand and Kyedea's health affecting him. I do agree that he makes flashy plays, but that's because at one point, he was the BEST player in the game. It's just how he plays and sometimes it costs rounds that were easily winnable. Unless you watched EVERY Sen vod and looked at all the stats from this season's kickoff, stage 1, Master's Madrid (which the WHOLE of Sen was destroying), and stage 2 (edit: which will be in less than a week), then you are just hating cause it's popular to, not because it's truth.

TL;DR: Tenz is still good, and some points that would have been accurate are overly hating.

He still holds the records for the highest ACS ever recorded by a duelist on the international stage and was, at one point, indisputably the best player in the world.
