All three players were core members of the roster that formed at the start of the partnership program heading into the 2023 season. Despite sporadic wins, that season was mostly characterized by loss and dysfunction, headlined by the benching of their star duelist to play the remainder of their games with an assistant coach. They finished second to last in the Americas League, and dead last in the Americas LCQ.

Despite the poor results, they kept the core roster intact, bringing in Matheus "mazin" Araújo as the IGL and Arthur "artzin" Araujo as the new duelist. It's not really about legal hurdles and more about how in the partnership program, orgs' job is to promote Riot's product, and controversies like these are bad PR, no matter if he's legally innocent.

Even if an org wanted to take that risk, I'm pretty sure Riot would veto it. Orgs can't do anything they want without repercussions.
