Hello there people of VLR. This is definitely not the right place to ask, but I am wondering if anyone knows how I could find a role as a scout/analyst for a valorant team. I am an extremely passionate and dedicated person and scouting/analyst work is something I would like to go into. I have already done some player scouting/team analysis for my own teams (just premier/t3 stuff).

Tysm for reading lol, if any teams are interested hmu, my discord is @ravin4t

WOL is gonna be great in china this season, adding Lysoar to an already strong fragging core of Spring and Yuicaw

CHINA
It is very likely EDG, FPX and Trace are top 3 again this year. FPX are adding Yosemite in place of Lysoar, but as long as that doesnt go terribly the top 3 should be set. As for the final champs spot, it seems like one of Nova/Wolves/DRG will end up there, with WOL looking quite strong so far this offseason. (WOL has a very good fragging core with Lysoar, Spring, and Yuicaw.) Nova has far performed expectations with their current roster, GuanG CB Swerl and Ezeir have all looked quite promising at different points in the offseason. DRG look quite iffy right now, and I am tempted to put XLG over them here, but given DRG have just made 2 roster moves (Spiritz1 and Cangshu from Taiwan) and so I'll give them some leeway. (Vookashu and TvirusLuke still seem pretty good, and at the very least Spiritz1 seems promising.) XLG has been relatively successful this offseason, although they have been giga hard carried by Happywei and Rarga's strong performances. Most of the rest of CN has been pretty mid to bad, although a few players to watch out for are AG and Tyloo's neon hard carries Spitfires and Ninebody, who played pretty good at the offseason Wall-E cup.

TLDR China top 3 seems locked EDG FPX Trace, with #4 being Nova/Wol/DRG, players to look out for in China are Spring, Yuicaw, Spiritz1, Happywei, with HMs of Spitfires and Ninebody

damn blowz is 16 thats crazy, he played p well this szn

swag initiator 😭

a lot of teams like to announce their rosters later on so they get more of the publicity instead of competing with sentinels/nrg roster announcements

esp if they arent doing much in the offszn it doesnt matter for them to announce (also some teams are still trialing)

there is protein in mold !!! why do dumb people not understand !!! eat lunchly to grow big and strong

I like xenom and cortezia, although if both of them are on the team there would probably be a role issue as they are both controllers

It surprises me that players like shion and blowz arent being considered for initiator, and it does feel wierd to put one of xenom/cortez on senti instead of getting an acc senti player (swag from legacy is p good, could also keep artzin on senti)

dragon !!! insane on controller + senti

rossy used to igl a bit in like 2022 with tsm

posted 2 months ago

lmao how do they have 2 controllers and their smokes 1 trick is off-role
it doesnt make any sense

posted 2 months ago

Why is vo0kashu playing so much omen now? they keep putting shion7 on initiator for someone else to play smokes and he plays so much worse :/ Not to mention bringing in a second duelist player and having Tvirusluke and Spiritz1 ping-pong the duelist role while the other gets owned on initiator

posted 2 months ago

Are there any leaks for where Xenom is going? his stats on controller are really good im surprised furia/mibr dont want him

posted 2 months ago

hard agree, although really hoping the fifth is a duelist because purp0 is so damn good on flex initiator

purpo runner westside cloud (igl) + 1

kellyS and UdoTan are both pretty good t2 players, but especially for Udo i feel they have had some pretty low lows. For sure could have had slightly better / more consistent players if they got some of the dropped pacific players / some other t2 players (ikana, dos9, ting2k5, etc.)

VAMOS WOLVES
SPRING DROPS 900

Assuming FPX finds a decent fifth, it seems likely the top 3 of china will be the same in 2025. That said, who do you think is in contention for 4th place? I think NOVA and WOL have both looked pretty good at different times, and if the neon meta continues Ninebody might hard carry Tyloo to top 4.
