another list underestimating GENG after they dominated madrid and recovered from their burnout smh
Underestimating Geng? i put them 4th.
Madrid doesn't hold too much weight imo. Loud only beat china to make playoffs, PRX was trying to still gel with Monyet. KC and TH was still rookies to internationals. Sen played like 100 series with their current team.
geng played the same amount of series as sen since kickoff (more since they qualified for playoffs)
they're top 3 minimum
I still don't rate SEN highly as a international team, Why should GENG be higher because they beat DRX and T1? As i said in other comments, this is mid playoffs. It will change after their performance tomorrow against PRX
and? GenG also went 3-3 with worse round diff too
both of them had their setbacks in groups, SEN would've made playoffs in every group besides AMER alpha and EMEA omega(not by record, just in general)
therefore this point is mute unless you also think SEN would be 4th at shanghai and have a similar recovery in playoffs that GenG did

you are underrating FPX they will take out one of the americas teams in groups to go in plaoffs and DRG might also do the same if LEV isnt in the groups
i think geng is perfectly rated they are a solid team but the top 3 in his rankings are demons so i agree with geng as 4th

Team heritics have a long future but are doing great no where near Sen I feel like I'm biased but very little Sen are just recovering from burnout.
Sen have a high ceiling people just don't see it
I feel like Sen had alot of success due to how active they were in the off season, it translated to well to kickoff. Now every team has caught up and overtaken them with stage experience.
Team heretics with W00T is far better than sentinels
I disagree maybe in the future yes th would be better but a non burntout sentinels agaisnt th would win because even with th having stage experience sen will have some advantages like sacy and tenz and zellsis who have so much of stage exp

2025 will have new teams that not even created yet. You need to step down on your SEN copium, Madrid never held that much weight as a LAN

100T only won against G2 because of Valyn throw TP. Those two teams are very similar so i cant put a giant gap between them
yeah they are very inconsistent if they can get back to their consistency they can probs be way higher

I would have to agree with you if it weren't for Madrid. In Madrid, the EMEA region looked significantly weaker compared to the other regions and was objectively the third worst performing region. If I applied the same assessment to this upcoming Shanghai tournament, then I believe this tier list accurately reflects the performance of the 3 regions.
Summary: This tier list assumes that the 4 regions will perform similarly to how they did in Madrid.
I feel like this is kind of an unfair way of looking at TH. They were 2 rounds off of beating SEN, who were the eventual winners of Madrid, then had to play a team tied for the most top 4 finishes in international events and again, nearly won. And they did all that with a stand in who's firepower wasn't anywhere near the level of the competition, as well as 3 complete rookies who's only tier 1 experience was kickoff.
Now that they have Wo0t, as well as some more experience as a roster, I expect them to make a deep run at Shanghai
zerphyr this is just delusional. TH is definitely the 2nd best team ITW rn, after that you can favor one of 3 teams. 100t (imo), FUT, or Lev
GenG is nowhere near 2nd best team itw, we are getting recency biased by a game where they had everything going for them compared to a slight edge to T1 in the first game
starting off, DRX just choked vs GenG, i still think they are the better team on a neutral play field, and GenG is better on a neutral play field than T1
first game;
T1 had momentum
result T1 2-1
second game:
T1 played an awful comp map 1, and were coming off a lose, while GenG had momentum and the rematch curse/wyatt's law

they haven't even won 2 games in a row this whole split outside the T1 game which i already explained deeply why its an exception

realistically what's going to happen is they're gonna barely prep for FPX and then Life's gonna pull them over the line with 5 different 4k's

Upsets might happen ofc, but I think you have the best list I’ve seen. MAYBE GenG + 100T over fut but tbh I’m very high on fut rn. They’re prx level good individually.

EMEA rated too high. we cant be possibly entering this conversation again didnt you guys learn anything in the past tournaments
I know this is an outdated list but no one is to going to convince me that FUT are playing better Valorant than 100T, GenG and LEV. There's a power gap between them and Team Heretics. They just lost to the 'washed FNC' in the most mid best of 5 I've seen. PRX and TH are absolutely the two best teams in Shanghai. GenG should be the dark horse in this race.
