2024 power ranking by number2_cNed_fan

this is the official number2_cNed_fan power rankings for AMERICAS and EMEA as I don't follow the other regions and can't make valid rankings. I will try to keep bias out as much as I can (except I'll put FUT over VIT since they are really close in power).

lets start by Americas

NRG - Very good individual talent in the team, they will most likely start off slow but by the end of the year they will probably be the best in their region
LOUD - LOUD would have been first if they didn't lose their star duelist Aspas, still a pretty good team but I can't put them over NRG without Aspas.
LEV - The only reason they are high is because of Aspas and C0M, I think Aspas and C0M will have a high influence on this teams success, but the teams listed higher just have as good, or better players that are already established in that team.
SEN - They just have overall good talent in the team. Just not as good/well rounded as the teams I listed higher
C9 - C9 is a hit or miss, decent players with a young prodigy OXY. Has a chance to do better than expected, I just can't rate them very well at the moment, they could be higher or lower.
100T - This is another hit or miss, if they start of their season well, they will do well. If they don't, god knows.
G2 - Ascension team, probably better than everyone I listed below but can't put them that high since most of the players haven't played in T1 in a long time.
Furia - Mwzera and friends. Doesn't have much talent other than MW
KRU - Keznit and friends. and Keznit is just a worse MW
EG - Most of the players haven't played in T1 in a very long time. I don't know if they will do well or not
MIBR - 💀

Americas lower half was hard to rank because they are almost equally bad.

Lets move onto EMEA, quick disclaimer that I don't really know much about the teams that I ranked below 6. So those opinions might be wrong.

FNC - I mean do I have to say much, its the Fnatic superteam. Everyone expects them to do really good
FUT - They showed some good talent last year, picking up cNed and Yetujey is only an improvement
VIT - Good pickups and showed talent in the off season, there was still some error in their gameplay but its nothing they can't fix.
NaVi - for NaVi -cNed and +Ardiss is a good change because Ardiss is overall a worse duelist but better flex-duelist (?). Also Ange1 has to stop entrying as omen.
TL - nAts is a really good player alone, the people they picked up from APEKS also has good potential
TH - overall a mid team, I don't know what to say other than they could be lower than I expect them to.
GiantX - They have a really nice roster with a proven IGL, I think they will outperform most the teams ranked below. They also have upset potential
BBL - Pains me to say this but BBL is at best a mid team. They did some decent roster changes but I don't know if it will be enough
KC - They did some changes, I don't know the players well enough to rate them well.
M8 - Don't really follow the french scene, so I don't know how good/bad they are
KOI - they don't even have a roster yet and its less than a month till the season starts.

Thats my rankings, feel free to comment suggestions/stuff i missed. If I agree with you, I'll make an edit!

EG: I thought I said this, but ig not. but I believe EG has the potential to be top 6, but they only have Jawg as a proven player

???? how are you getting to that idea, cuz they tried shit in the only tourney left before season??? they played decent at redbull with curry sub, and on top of that they're rebuilding all that chem again + the 2 new players and that hadn't had much time yet. Trust the cat eared lord and savior vanity.

that said I don't think firepower is what will determine the actual frontrunners this season. its gonna be a lil weird but hopefully exciting

Imo firepower matters a lot and they are worse than most teams in Americas in that aspect

Vanity is also a questionable igl imo and hasn’t shown any good results in a while

Americas is also just stacked so its tough

NRG LEV SEN LOUD > C9 (self explanatory)

100t > C9 (Good roster on paper, I believe with time with Boostio they will be much better)

KRU > C9 (KRU is pretty good on paper with Keznit, Shyy and mta bringing a lot of firepower with a proven igl and coaching staff)

G2 > C9 (G2 are just better role for role. More proven igl in valyn)

Furia > C9 (Mw + firepower diff)

Americas is simply too stacked

they were better off last year and made downgrades in every role imo

I have too many friends to make any real comments here, but I do understand basing a pre-season ranking off of firepower. I personally value the system of a team more than the players on that team alone.

So to use an example of something that could happen; replacing aspas as a duelist can be a hit or miss change with how they, at least previously, played a decent portion of their rounds. Now naturally theres going to be a really good understanding of what aspas's job was bc the system remains. BUT, there may be a couple things that teams only try to counter-strat come season matches. aspas could have a better idea of what that may look like vs someone who is stepping into the system, therefore the "hit or miss" aspect. Firepower isn't necessarily a concern there.

is that gonna happen? i would say no. esp with half the map pool changing, but theres a lot of those hypothetical scenarios for most of these teams.

How is SEN not the most well-rounded team? They legit have 5 insane players, good calling/comms, and a good coach. I don't see how any team beats them in that regard. NRG is good, but the igling is still a question. LEV is also good, but SEN has more depth on paper even with aspas, and LOUD losing aspas drops them a lot in terms of firepower.

How is it disrespectful to any of those teams? LOUD and NRG haven't played with their new rosters yet, and LEV hasn't beaten any good teams. All of those teams are probably going to be good, but SEN is looking like the best Americas team rn.

I really don't watch the bottom half of EMEA. So you could be right.
I think NA has better competition because top half and bottom half are pretty close in skill (to each other), while EMEA has 3-4 really strong teams that are better than everyone else.
So for leagues, I prefer Americas as there is more competition.

LEV is easily top2, most likely 1st

you forgot kiNgg, statistically the best flex player from last season (they got luckier now that skye is nerfed, since nzr isn't there anymore)

TH is definitely lower and GX higher
FUT top2 is really debatable, top4 for sure, but I'll pass you that bc your bias
if VITA get trexx, they're definitely top2
