Who will be the best player during VCT 2024?
My guess would be: Zekken
it's straight facts, aspas has always been good and the impact that he has is insane and now that he is on lev he has still been putting up insane numbers, although it's in mickey mouse matches, he seems much more happy on his new team and with supportive players like kiNgg he could def be the best player.
If LEV look good and bounce back from being grouped in Kick-off, I 100% agree he will be the best player in VCT 2024 (at least in Americas, there are some emerging names coming out of other regions)
something
hes had global lan experience now and will only continue to grow and get better
something Alr reached his ceiling as a player I don’t see him higher than top 5
hes gone to one international
and you are already saying hes reached his ceiling
you realise how that makes no sense right ?
What does individual talent have to do with a team accomplishment of going to a lan? He was getting hyped up of how good he was during the champs era and he performed well not to the expectations given but good, and we all know pacific league has the weakest teams making it a little bit easier to get better stats. and don’t get me wrong he’s still really good top 10 yes, but top 5 no
Alfajer was farming in his league before his first international lan appearance
he then proceeded to do good but not to the extent he was hyped up for
now imagine saying that alfajer had hit his peak back then or that he hit his ceiling
and we clearly know how good alfajer is now.
it makes no sense to assume someones peak when they have literally only shown themselves once internationally
I was giving an example of how you cant say someone has hit their ceiling when they haven't showed enough against international competition.
I used alfajer because he had the similar performance like something, where he was called the best fnatic player and hes gonna take over internationals, but he didnt live up to it and did alright in Reykjavik.
Now imagine saying that he hit his ceiling then
when clearly he improved like crazy. w
Thus you cant make an assumption about someones skill ceiling with such a small sample space to work with
?
Never said he was I said how hyped up he was during the era of Tokyo and champs since ppl claimed if he were there prx would of won it all.
Aspas will have another outstanding year, but all my bets are for cauanzin
It's the coach Mini and the player Boo Combined into a single player, he's the future and will dominate 2024
24: Leo
25: Alfajer
26: W0ot
27: W0ot
28: Cloud (after the mf finally gets on a good team)
29: Alfajer
30: Alfajer
MY CALL
So EU biased.
Bro thinks Alfajer will be the best player as a 24 year old when BabyBrian exists
its actually going to be me in 2028 when G2 signs me for their EU team after changing regions for the 6th time
I vote yay. He was insane in 2021 and the undisputed best in 2022. Would have been up there last year too, but clown9 screwed his career over.
Biased guess: ZEKKEN THE PROPHET CHILD
Unbiased guess: C0M, was super good last year especially during Champs. Hopefully he stays in T1 and cleans house.
hard to predict once the best player (arguably) this year was Demon1 who basically came out of nowhere
I'm intrigued to hear what you have to say, what have they won. You're not gonna say anything about stuff that happened years ago, right?
they did nothing in 2023 but in 2022 asuna literally carried them to champs. highest acs in lcq which is really impressive.
Carried? Bro you're glazing way too hard if you think he was carrying during their lcq run, and then since 2022 champs he didn't do anything. He deserves to be replaced.
U didnt check stats, and u def did not watch. Lcq asuna was diff
Yeah after 2022 champs they won redbull lol
And literally 2023 was an off year. Lol just becuz u dont have good placements( his stats were still fine, second highest acs on raze during 2023 season) doesnt mean u arent good
Like mwzera is cracked but his team cant support
Ur actually hella pressed lol
im gonna say this now, Asuna 2022 was good, nowadays, he's predictable
I didn't say he was bad during LCQ, I watched all of LCQ. He didn't carry, all of 100T was playing well, other than maybe a little bit under average performance from Will with the role he had, he did step up at champs but still lost.
But currently in the team Asuna is the problem and needs to be replaced, he's taking away carry roles that Cryo should be playing and isn't performing well on the initiators. They need a more comfortable flex (mostly initiator) that's consistent and calm. I would suggest a pickup like Chloric would be better than Asuna.
bro is finally delivering the hype but it sucks that just now he's starting to believe that he's a great player, i saw how happy he was in his last few streams ❤️
