Im sorry, but demon1 took a tier 2.5 into the best of the best. Yay alr had one of the biggest brain, best smoker, and one of the best duo on his team at that time. Demon1 peak is winning champs, while yays is master. I agree we shouldnt be hating on yay but if we r talking about peak, demon1 clears

Yes, he made the team much better but he isn't the sole reason that EG is world class, like you keep implying. Watch EG's old vods, they looked horrible before. Their defaults were shit, their defensive setups, pacing and trading, and overall teamplay were all so bad. Then they started gradually improving as time went on. Demon1 didn't change what I listed above much. During masters Tokyo after 2 matches I already called it that they were a top 2 team itw, before the semifinals even started. fnc fits yay perfectly, always near the top but failing at the end, while eg, like demon1 eventually had a much higher peak
idk if u guys know what a peak is, but winning champs is a super high peak, especially mpving it. yay was just more consistent because he was known for the whole year and was able to place high while demon1 was brand new and his first 2 international got 2 and and 1.

I think yay is great. But chamber made him even More great. Demon1 need to show us More how consistent he is on big stage, but its very Normal to compare both of them because demon1 is actually that good. He is the better jett, he can play smoke, he is More reliable than yay.
And if there is ever a 1v1 between both of them, demon1 most likely take it too.
the diff between demon1 and yay is that yay could not carry his T2 team at DSG. But demon1 always been good alone and didn't need the supporting cast. it showed when he joined EG that he was meant to be in the top of the food chain. Yay was good because his supporting cast + chamber made him succeed, demon1 succeeded by helping give the firepower EG lacked at the time.
Prime Yay is something that no one will be able to replicate, maybe next year it might be possible, but no one had a dominant year like prime yay did. He was the best itw and no one at the time could challenged him, sure he used a broken character like chamber but even the best players weren't even close to matching him on the same character. You can cope and say that yay is a chamber abuser, but it doesn't change that fact that no one reach the same level as he did with the same agents, but at the same time his jett was top tier. Prime yay is something you don't see every day.
