The best sentinel of the world
It was before they played a single map this year. He said I jumped on because they started winning. So how is it exactly like he said? Also, Fnatic was my favorite team in 2021 (from SUMN FC times) and the second favorite in 2022 (PRX was fav). I switched from PRX to FNC at the start of the year because I liked Leo and Chronicle, and FNC as a whole seemed to have more players I like than PRX. I support teams based on the players, I don't have anything to do with the org.
okay so if FNC completely change, get a 5 man t3 roster from lets say israel, and their playstyle is boring to watch and they loose every game u stay a fan?
u become a fan of a team because of the players and their team playstyle, not because its fnatic bc if you a fan of Fnc THEN ur actually a fake fan that supports the team just because their name already holds weight.
checkmate.
Blud thinks he's cooking, your arguement is IF they change the whole team to a tier 3 roster we wouldn't support fnatic anymore.
Let me help you learn something, if you support an orgnaisation it means you respect the management, the values and also the location of the system.
Fnatic are known for fantastic scouting, management and they have been successful over a long period of time.
Your hypothetical is fucking dumb, because it wouldn't happen and the reason we support the organisation is because we know it's not a stupidly run one. Also they are in a partner league system, where no team in any of the leagues has tier 3 players. They all were a success or had an established tier 2 background - especially in EMEA.
If fnatic weren't winning and they certainly WERE NOT always winning, yes we would still support them. You never have watched any other sports seriously and don't understand what loyalty is or how fanbases work.
You cannot be a fake fan if you were there throughout and are still a supporter it defeats the definition of the phrase. Also who say "checkmate." đ€ Such a psuedo-intellectual thing to do.

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK đđđđđđđđ 0 TROPHIES OUT OF KR
Too little matches to compare less with alfajer, both are really good players, but i think less is a bit of "underrated".
I do see ppl talking about less but not as talking about aspas or sadhaak, less' impact in every loud's match is HUGE, getting kills in rotations, sometimes doing some crazy 1's when opening angles (exemple that 1 vs derke in ascent score 6x5), not only he has great skills but also a big knowledge about game plans and rotations, and when LOUD need him most, he looks like he has ice cold in his veins playing like he never played before.
Now in comparison to alfajer, honestly i do confirm that i didnt watch fnatic games (yk 11-3 traumatized me a lot) and so i dont know about his playstyle, but just seeing that play on lotus where he waits every player to pass just for killing everyone shows us just a litte bit of how alfajer can be impactful on a match, probably the last match was a fluke but who knows.
Also thinking in overall, less is contesting this role for best sentinel since last year, perhaps i live in a bubble that only i can see this but thats the first time that i see alfajer also competing for this role.
TL;DR:
Overall: imo less is beter
At the moment: THE TOURNAMENT IS NOT OVER!!! LETS WAIT!!!!!!!
LOUD could be going to lowers after PRX and getting destroyed by FNATIC with alfajer outclassing everybody
or
FNATIC getting demolished by FUT
WE CANT PREDICT THE FUTURE!!!
Based on the below data, I cannot find any support to your claim, Less > Alfajer etc.
Moreover, the term "diff" essentially means difference, referring to a kind of difference involving subtraction - a remainder, so to speak. It is commonly used when describing a situation where a certain player demonstrates superior skills compared to another player (the opponent) who is using the same agent in a match or game, which also could be traced in their statistics versus that particular player. While you can still consider minor differences, however, that is not the main point of such expression. And let me help you here...
NO DIFF IS OBSERVED IN THE DATA BELOW, and if there was a small "dif," we could simply brush it of as insignificant, especially because Team Liquid is/was nowhere near as competitive to draw any helpful conclusions <-- yes, they were utter shite!
Undoubtedly, Less is a great and important player, but his significance stems from being a key member of an exceptional team he belongs to. The team's success in winning games should not be attributed to one player outperforming another (the opponent), but rather to their overall statistics as a team. That is, if Loud won Fnatic = team Loud won team Fnatic, and only then we look for any possible discrepancies amongst the players.
Also, we cannot claim that "Less - the best sentinel of the world, not even if Loud wins the Champions! Less, is no doubt amazing talent and one of the finest sentinel players in Valorant, but he is not the best.
I really hope I make sense here... However, if you feel you may argue my point of view, then please feel free to offer your well-organized argument...

I also wanted to mention that both Less and Alfajer are seemed to be one of most improved players in the game IMHO, which is in itself a crucial statistic for us fans, be it Fnatic or Loud, since we wish our team to succeed, and not just one individual player out of the team.
Also, the OP may safely enter Less's chat and ask him whether he feels himself to be better than the named players. And I am confident Less will present an accurate picture of the situation... every pro player understands (or should, if not already) the styles and success rates of their opponents in the same agent group they play.
I think both players are the best players in their own team and top 3 in the world right now, both are mechanically gifted and super clutch. I think Less is a little better though. Whenever I see the other team in a 5v2, 4v2, 3v1 and Less is still alive I always feel like he is that guy who could turn it around. Super scary.
