Why are you so angry? I watched the match interested to see how this player is and I am now asking if this is how he usually plays. If you watched the match, there wouldn't be disagreement with my observation.
Yes, I only watched this one match as I stated. This linked round doesn't mean anything, I'm asking for reference about playstyle because that was his playstyle this entire series (if anyone watched the series, they would agree).
This is the first time I've watched Verno play after seeing so much hype about him but from watching the games, he had basically no impact in the series vs QoR. He seemed to bait super hard and always sat back even when he should be going forward and he always went for exits. The only time he would not bait super hard was when QoR were on eco where he would pretty much hold W (he got 70% of his kills on Split against ecos as example). It seemed like most of his kills this series came from ecos and exit frags, low to no impact kills.
Maybe it just happened to be this series but is this usually how he plays, genuinely curious? (Super stat-paddy, baiting and running at ecos)
A good econ-rating in not-stomp games at big events usually means that either the player saves a lot and/or isn't dropping any of their teammates. It is a good stat to keep in mind over larger sample sizes because you can see which players are consistently selfless or selfish since your econ rating only gets worse if you drop teammates (better econ rating, more chance the player is selfish).
There is nobody else to pick-up in terms of an IGL for DRX.
He plays mainly Duelist but it's clear he isn't the main entry no matter what agent he plays (not saying he doesn't, but EG's balance with entries is very different compared to other teams). When their team truly needs space created, Jawgemo and Boostio are their real entries even on off-roles. It requires a lot of creativity and awareness to be able to entry so consistently without a dash, so props to them. In that sense, Demon1 plays more of a trader/lurk. His playstyle is very similar to an average Chamber regardless of his agent choice since he usually sits back and waits for his team to set him up in good positions to frag where he doesn't have to worry about utility as much.
