Game Changers Championship heads to Brazil for 2023

Riot has revealed the second iteration of the Game Changers Championship will be hosted in their São Paulo-based studios from Nov. 28 to Dec. 3.

The eight-best Game Changers teams will be flown to São Paulo to play in front of Riot's own 140-person CBLOL Arena, where they'll contest the second international GC title. The event's slots have also been announced, mirroring last year's distribution:

Details regarding the North American and EMEA Game Changers circuits have surfaced recently. This year, NA will have a new organizer and verification system but will keep its format. EMEA will have a different format, opting for one 16-team EMEA league and two amateur levels of competition below it.

The first Game Changers Championship was hosted last November in the 174-seat LEC Studio, based in Berlin. Does anyone know how the attendance for the first GC championship was? I remember watching some games and it looked pretty empty, but I don't know if that was because of a lack of interest in going, or just how small the amount of seating was for that event.

Somewhat disappointed to see the same format with small venue, small crowd, and limited slots, especially after what most of the players said last year when a similar format was announced. This year, after averaging over 100k viewers last year, (even when most of NA was unable to watch live due to time difference) I think players expected a larger event, especially when this is the only Game Changers international all year, outside of NA bringing in some LATAM teams in third party tournaments.
