If G2 offered Sentinels a trade for Dephh < > Shahzam, would you accept it? Shahz always was top notch mechanically for a IGL imo and prolly better IGLing than Dephh. I know this is a VERY reactionary thread from me but i just wanna know what SEN/NA fans think about this

In terms of IGLing i would agree but I think Shahzam is alot better at clutches and solo plays than Dephh is. Shahzam doesn't top the leader board in kills but the kills he gets are round defining.

a lot of the heavy lifting strat-wise is done before the game with the coaching staff and the whole team, the IGL legit just calls said strats early round and occassionally mid-round, the game plan most of the times is already set mfs don't come up with strats on the fly

i realize a lot of strats are made prior to the match, but in game IGLing and midrounding is still very important and theres a very big difference between midrounding against SR vs LOUD, NRG, FNC, etc

like you can't really tell me SR has as much depth as franchise team. its a different level of preparation with so much more depth

Too soon. They lost against the team that went on to win the entire tournament. SEN could have played a lot better but cut em some slack. Gotta test this team out a bit more. Also I doubt shaz would take it.

SEN literally played 1 game against Lock in winner and some mickey mouse invitational within 1 week of meeting their teammates.. and people are already suggesting changes. WILD.

I used to watch him all the time but I feel like he always had the fear of getting kicked out of the team if they introduced a coach into the team. The only coach we got was rawkus ( good with shaz ) and dani (also good with shaz ). I mean in G2 also they took oxy.

Deph is gonna show tf up the rest of the year.
For the entire time leading up to lock-in he was surely focusing on his teams strengths, strats, communication, roles, communication, and communication.
without having to focus entirely on igling he will do enough to be considered a top tier igl and go even most games, which is all his team needs.
