All salaried tier 2 players need to be dropped immediately. I'm totally serious. There's no reason paid professionals should be losing to a tiktok yoru 1 trick, curry's little brother, baby "inspire" j, scam artist / win trader poppin, and 70 ping canezera. Are they not embarrassed?? I'll cut m80 a little slack because they're playing without sato. But the rest of the orgs really need to step it up. Especially SR Black... you can NOT be losing to "burger boys"

But then that follows, why are the SALARIED PROs getting outshot by ranked players who "do whatever they want". Doing whatever you want wouldn't work against a top tier 1 team, not because of mechanical gap, but because the t1's strats would fully shut out a team that has no strategic depth. That implies the t2 pro teams are either using strats which fall apart easily, or their mechanics are too bad to compete, and hence will get dominated in t1 on a mechanical basis if they do ever ascend anyway, like gentle m8 last year.

The serious answer is that Rankers are actually competent and do have strategic depth. Their performance so far would not be easily replicated by taking five other random radiants and having them run it down. We'll see how they hold up against better teams though.

Rankers were going back and forth with NRG and EG and frying LEV in scrims. And the teams that rankers are dominating in T2 have also played close games with T1 teams in off season events. In the case of trust in plug out right beaten them. Your black and white way of looking at the game is flawed that’s all. Rankers would do well in Tier 1

TSM lost to Blue Otter and YFP in Stage 3. They may be salaried but that doesn’t mean they should be the best team.

Also Eggsterr makes more money streaming than the TSM player salaries.

They are a good team. Why would losing to a premier team be a bad thing? Nongshim (previously Sin Prisa) was a Premier team too.

I feel that if an org was investing tens of thousands of dollars into me i would feel pretty embarrassed to lose to a pug team that doesnt have a coach and didnt start scrimming until a month ago. Obviously rankers is a good team but it looks bad to orgs that they can put all this money into recruiting supposedly the "best" free agents but they'll still lose to an aderalled 16 year old running it down

I don't think it's a bad thing. It just means the game is evolving to a point where random ranked kids can shove bamboo up the asses of proven pro players. And it is about damn time. Too many recycled players in tier 1 and 2. The change needs to come.

I think best case scenario is Rankers end up lighting a fire under the asses of these other teams and cause them to get better. I'm just scared that it makes orgs more reluctant than they already are to invest in the game. These so called "proven pro players" are starting to seem like paycheck stealers. I like that tsm picked up ranked demon vora and i hope they continue to do well
