NYANYANYANYAN [#3]What a waste of a career. Playing with s0m and ethan 🤣
Yeah s0m kinda threw away his prime for love.. respect that tho
gamergirl [#4]Yeah s0m kinda threw away his prime for love.. respect that tho
bro's acting like s0m is married to fns....
honestly he might be
rStellar [#5]why doesn't he aim train or something
His ego's been inflated by som gassing him up after every match
rStellar [#5]why doesn't he aim train or something
aim doesn't matter, he knows ho to use a mouse better than you do
Yistyy [#14]This is definitely FNS' last rodeo but I feel like we should stop discrediting his career. He was instrumental in shaping the vct scene we see today. We should appreciate him while we have him, even if his mechanics are not up to par.
extremely common Yistyy W

It'd be excusable if that actually were the case but nah he just trolled his career cuz it was funny

That's cool but he also potentially tried to destroy a rookie's career just because he couldn't admit his own faults so I don't think he needs the gas, head is large enough as is.

fns has 0 stocks after verno situation, wasnt good last year or this year and idrc
glad my favorite org is finally getting rid of this plague

It wasn't just FNS who kicked verno, it was also s0m, ethan and mada. We have no idea what the internal dynamics of the team looked like but if all 4 members agreed on it then it was probably for the best.

Nah, let's blame FNS because he can't aim, so he's the easy scapegoat. He probably told Verno to shut up which is why he didn't comm on NRG

I'm not saying he can still hang in tier 1, I'm just saying we should stop slandering him and respect his contributions to the entireity of valorant esports.

your blind devotion is a reflection of a lot of things wrong with people
they didnt just kick verno, they insinuated to the world he lacks work ethic and cant comm, even when that wasnt the case on a previous team
when the community started hating on verno the veterans ethan and fns were silent, literally did nothing to stand up for their former teammate or help him get another chance somewhere else
you are deluded and dont know when to admit wrongdoing

I mean it clearly was the best for Verno because he's, at the very least, much happier on MIBR.
For NRG? They still look dog, and they spent a lot of effort, both the org and FNS as an individual, selling "Verno is the problem" only for him to seemingly prove that wrong by performing on a new team while NRG continues to flounder. It just reeks.

Contrary to your belief I actually don't have any devotion for FNS, he isn't even my top 3 favorite players on this NRG team and I've said many times that he can't hang anymore in vct. I don't agree with your take that they "insinuated" that he is incompetent, why else would they make roster moves. And even if they did, so what? they are being transparent and explaining to the community why they made their decision which is better than leaving us in the dark.

That's not their job nor are they obligated to do such things. Yeah, it would have been a good gesture but you can't really hold it against them for not doing that.

You can't talk about FNS and slander in the same sentence like this after Verno.
If he's going to slander rookie talent himself he can take people not respecting his "legacy".

I'm happy for verno, he's too talented to have his career be wasted. And regarding NRG they haven't really done anything wrong, they believed making roster moves was the best decision, even if that hasn't worked out.
Diitto [#23]Nah, let's blame FNS because he can't aim, so he's the easy scapegoat. He probably told Verno to shut up which is why he didn't comm on NRG
God forbid we hold the veteran player to a standard of basic conduct.

In which interview or tweet did FNS slander Verno?

I don't think he slandered verno, he was just giving an explanation on why they made roster changes.

It's not about whether they believed roster moves were needed, since i agree with that (and think they should've gone further) but they don't need to justify their roster moves by attempting to slander their move in both org content and FNS' own words as someone with poor work ethic and lacking team/comms participation despite evidence of these being untrue on both his prior and now also in following teams.
Just call it a synergy issue. Other orgs have given even less justification than that for other moves.

Like I said tho, it's not really slander, more like an explanation for why they dropped him.

FNATIC
Diitto [#38]Elaborate?
after fnatic got eliminated from shanghai, everyone targeted boaster due to his poor performance at the event and it got to the point where his teammates stood up for him against the community.
Yistyy [#36]Like I said tho, it's not really slander, more like an explanation for why they dropped him.
Most teams give vauge reasons for roster moves instead of scathing remarks and negative content spotlighting about someone they're dropping.

It's a lose-lose situation then. if FNS hadn't said anything mfs would be mad for not getting any explanation. Now you are saying it was scathing and negative. So basically there is no winning then.
Effluxi [#42]#40
Since you're so sure that FNS has made "scathing remarks" that "slander" or defame Verno, it should be easy to quote those remarks or even mention one of the few public statements FNS has made regarding this situation. Surely we aren't referring to the Pedro interview where FNS states that "people" were "not responsive," leading to a negative practice environment?

People getting upset on the internet happens anyway. Potential career damage not so much.

In the meantime you want to excuse your org's hitjob or is your mouth too full?

You’re full of shit LOL. I have no excuses for “my org” because I only care about the players. Meanwhile you can’t even defend your point, you just want someone to blame. Miserable human being.
