Players who IMPROVED

which players have actually improved? sometimes it feels like when a mid player enters the league they stay mid, and when a star rookie joins they usually end up being pretty good. why is this? am i just dumb? shouldn't it be easy to improve? especially with all the resources they receive from their org (like coaching and facilities) on top of being salaried to do so.

only players i can think of are t3xture (i didn't watch ge so maybe he didn't actually improve but just achieves his potential now on a better team?) maybe aspas (because he was overshadowed by his teammates in 2022 mainly, but got a lot more spotlight in 2023-2024)

mainly talking about players who improved while in T1, not better from their time in T2 you know

mada? I don't think we've seen any "real" improvements, just players who used to be a bit shaky stabilizing

where did you get this idea? Aspas was always perceived as the best LOUD player by both the community and his teammates

tbh wasnt big on val esports in 2022 but i thought the discussion was between him and less for best loud player? and best loud player to being perceived as best itw is a pretty nice upgrade i'd say

i did hear that as well, that mada wasn't as good earlier into his career. though inconsistent -> consistent is a very very good improvement

If we're going all the way back into 2022, then I would say mada. He was a solid player back then, but last year and especially at kickoff something clicked and now he is one of the elite players in NA now. But i guess technically he is a rookie since this is his first year in partnerships.

Could be KK, he was known as a opper abuser and his aim in that time was kind mid. Now a days he is a complete duelist player.

honestly Keiko went from a mid duelist (despite one rly good game) and now looks like one of the strongest smoke players rn. In addition Zellsis grew more as a caller although he was always solid back on V1. I think some players like Boostio and Jawgemo rly improved from the old EG core who before 2023 was only middling at best (besides their one win vs Optic). I also think mada improved since LG

Aspas was arguably LOUD's best player in 2022. The only time the dispute was between him and Less was in 2023, not 2022.

I feel like chichoo and nobody improved a lot since their initial debuts. 2023 to 2024 tenz improved a lot. Cauanzon has been constantly getting better. Munchkin had a huge improvement last year. For 2025 Keiko if he keeps up his kickoff form, and Dgzin if you count him (2023 he was not this good but he spent 2024 in t2).

I think it’s because the level of pros is generally close than it looks and it’s a lot harder for a player to suddenly jump up in skill level when everyone is constantly improving. The biggest jumps in my opinion are when good players change their roles and look more comfortable. Also I think t2 emphasizes individual improvement where as t1 looks at good individuals to improve their team play.

Keiko is a really good shout actually. i know he was hyped up at one point but unfortunately kind of faded away. now he's definitely living up to his previous hype. good call!

Anybody on EDG (unbiased). It's super clear if you watched them play earlier on in 2022 and start of 2023 before tokyo. 4/5 of them went from being disregarded to being considered top 3 or 5 in their roles in the world.

Trexx I would say he has become to one of best players in emea currently his career hasn’t been great with the likes of guild and koi timeline but ever since he has came to VIT the stocks has been rising upwards and is the third successor after Leo and sayf

No problem, this is a very common mistake to make.

After all, there’s this narrative that Aspas wasn’t even the best player on LOUD 22, where people use the Champions stats as "proof."

It was widely agreed at the time that Aspas was the best player on LOUD, both in the Brazilian community and around the world.

I dont think it was major improvement though. I been following him since tier 3. He was always a dominant star player type. He just didnt have a good system in TL last year, fell short of of expectations significantly. Now that TL is better and he's perhaps on a role that better lets him show off his mechanics (like demon1 on smokes) he is showing. It's not really like a mid player turning cracked, but I see why its said
