This is not a sens issue. Its a "what does the player excel at and what does he suck at" issue, and demon1 isnt feeling it mechanically, nor does the meta suit him. Look at canezerra dominating t2 rn, hes INCREDIBLY low sens player. Dgzin is also thriving in t1 rn and hes low sense. Other high sens players are doing well, especially in apac sure, but its not a requirement. Pretty sure some of the new signed emea prodigy players are low sens too like Serial but could be wrong

he might be but i wonder what the reason would be. demon1 had ridiculous insane confidence coming out of "nowhere" in his EG run. legit had never touched a t1 lan before and was dominating all year, shit talking everyone no fucks given etc.
Maybe its a combination of the personal life struggles + the pressure to live up to his own hype and previous expectations? tbh tho i think its less so him specifically and more than its incredibly hard to be consistently top tier through all metas and only really derke and aspas have been able to, and their teams typically really catered to what their playstyle is. Also in EG he played better than his individual raw skill because his team all made individual sacrifices to their stats or personal performance to enable him, the same way 2022 Optic did for Yay

ragebait. icy is a system player who never creates plays of his own and just plays incredibly slow like the rest of g2. jawg might not be some top 5 carry duelist everyone glazed him to be, but he has a big agent pool, gets active and makes the space for g2. he isnt their best player tho idk why that misconception became so popular

Bro if you really want to see significant progress in your raw aim. Do minigod's Tac FPS weekly routines. He has a post on his twitter about it. If you find you aren't progressing much despite scores going up, watch some minigod and viscose voltaic videos and they explain aim concepts that help you transfer it into the actual game.
Also, every good player does a LOT of deathmatch. So if you want to be "an aimer", focus on specific things in your DM sessions, movement, peeking, crosshair placement, first bullet accuracy, etc.

I dont think it was major improvement though. I been following him since tier 3. He was always a dominant star player type. He just didnt have a good system in TL last year, fell short of of expectations significantly. Now that TL is better and he's perhaps on a role that better lets him show off his mechanics (like demon1 on smokes) he is showing. It's not really like a mid player turning cracked, but I see why its said

But then that follows, why are the SALARIED PROs getting outshot by ranked players who "do whatever they want". Doing whatever you want wouldn't work against a top tier 1 team, not because of mechanical gap, but because the t1's strats would fully shut out a team that has no strategic depth. That implies the t2 pro teams are either using strats which fall apart easily, or their mechanics are too bad to compete, and hence will get dominated in t1 on a mechanical basis if they do ever ascend anyway, like gentle m8 last year.

tara already retired, she didnt really plan to play pro much longer and considers herself not good enough. she just came back for the coed showmatches and GCC. Imo madv is better than both, but I wish I knew the lore behind the kohabi SMG drama, all i saw about it was them subtweeting each other

looking at your replies on this thread, its 100% a mental and mindset issue. if you dont stop making excuses such as "i have good mechs already but i lose" "my team throw" "if i dont tilt im the goat" YOU WILL STAY HARDSTUCK.
Get an improvement mindset, stop tilting, stop crying and you will climb.
If your mechanics were significantly better than your rank, you'd be at least ascendant. If your game sense was good too, you'd be immortal, even solo qing. All the excuses will keep you stuck. Look at each aspect of your gameplay and fix them one by one, compare yourself to pro players, don't be delusional and cope.

Mental is the most important thing in ranked, if you tilt and make bad decisions because of it, you will stay hardstuck.

sayf? (i dont agree with the narrative that aspas isnt him, but i think sayf is a top 6 duelist)

yeah it makes sense, aspas is the best player in terms of individual ability and i dont think its close. all the people who people claim challenge him, are either wildly inconsistent or fell off faster.
the thing is when goat debates come up, its never based on form ,its always based on achievement, and Chron has by far the most achievements and wins with every team.

Look into DDK's videos for the mental game which is a big part once you get to immo+, as well as aplox's podcasts, even styko's cs videos have a lot of advice for how to develop as a future pro player.
In terms of hiring a coach, go on metafy you can find a lot of actual pro players and coaches who do personal coaching, my recommendation would be Roy Strong Legs. He played on t2, coached and is very into coaching at a high level.
