Why is Lotus Always in VCT?

I don’t understand why Lotus is constantly in the VCT map pool. Sure, they removed it for a short time, but it keeps coming back. Honestly, it’s one of the most boring maps to watch and play. It feels repetitive and lacks the excitement that other maps bring to the table.

Not only is it dull in professional play, but it’s also incredibly annoying in ranked matches. The layout and mechanics just don’t seem to resonate with a lot of players, making it a frustrating experience overall. I really hope Riot considers giving it a longer break or reworking it to make it more engaging.

What do you all think? Is it just me, or does Lotus need a major overhaul to stay relevant in both VCT and ranked?

lotus isnt that bad so nobody hates it

idk why you find lotus boring. i understand some problems with the map but boring def isnt one of them. it has like four different gimmicks at once, strong comp variety and a lot of iconic moments. its one of my favorite maps tbh
