th are just a coinflip team, if they're shooting they look like they could beat anyone and if they're not they could lose to anyone. Predicting or analysing them based on recent results is a waste of time tbh

that seems hard considering they're in group b
you did not watch sunset or icebox brother was tossing
no they're all 3rd seeds, 2nd seeds are rrq, drg and whoever loses between liquid/gx
imagine needing a convenient tech pause and double pistol to win your most favoured map
i don't wanna see babybay fan edits man, let him go to a serious team
all the eu teams besides navi permabanned pearl by tokyo and icebox was long gone so it wasn't that bad, it was way worse in americas regular season
champs 2023 zeta were not making playoffs in any group they almost got 13-0d by the nrg that lost to bilibili
the numbers don't lie
https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/2501/vct-2025-americas-stage-2?exclude=32389.32390.32391.32392.32393&min_rounds=0&agent=all
actually I just checked and any trophy won with icebox in the map pool is declared retroactively fraudulent and doesn't count, unlucky bro
carried by honeymoon era s1mon util and neon meta unfortunately
this might ring a bell
https://www.vlr.gg/248273/evil-geniuses-vs-edward-gaming-valorant-champions-2023-playoffs-ubqf
nrg will ban bind unless bonkar is tweaking, the sunset against g2 was very winnable but ethan just cannot call on bind, it's the only map in the pool that c9 win 100%
idk what aura is but it was the best storyline this game has ever had by far. A team people were saying was gonna be bottom 5 in all of franchising won champs and became the 2nd best team of the year by benching the guy everyone thought was their best player and bringing out an aim demon from t3, only getting the chance to prove themselves to begin with because an assistant coach knifed 100t out of playoffs. 2023 clears every other year of vct argue with a wall
being a sen fan is like being a cowboys fan, a man united fan, a lakers fan or a yankees fan in that being a part of something popular matters more than anything. These people don't care about the game as much as they care about social media engagement metrics and viewership figures, in their minds the players are celebrities before they're competitors. If you were around in 2022-2023 with all the obnoxious pr moves, the braindead roster changes that would happen basically every week, the mass delusion of the fans that the team was relevant to people who were interested in watching good valorant let alone actually good themselves, this would be self-evident. I do think it's probably fun to be a sen fan in the same way it's probably fun to be a swiftie, people are incentivised to talk about your fave when engagement=money so you get a lot of attention
because heretics won 5 group stage games and fnc won 4, teams that place below top 4 of playoffs don't get any extra points
if a team like tl beat prx in grands when they've haven't made playoffs in an international this year they wouldn't be the best team of the year
respect tacolilla the goat chamber merchant
he kinda solo lost them upper finals vs prx because he had a 2025 boostio performance on pearl but I agree he was good overall considering he was igling
if you count igling in assessment then it's valyn imo. He's on a heater in playoffs though for sure
nah he was only ok at champs, he was insane at tokyo though
no they got the same placement in 2023 playoffs to qual for tokyo and champs also losing to nrg, that was the zellsis breach ult game
sen fans probably care a lot about potentially beating g2 in a bo5 even with babybay but otherwise yeah
if we're going recent lev demon1 and natank are up there, everyone said there would be role issues minute 1 after the announcement and turns out they had role issues
champs points tiebreaker is year-long head to head instead of stage 2 results in americas so mibr have a guaranteed spot, if it was like the other regions mibr wouldn't go to champs and it'd be nrg and c9 instead
how tf can anyone hate g2 they're the chillest team ever especially post-babybay it makes no sense to me, anyway I'd be cool with anyone but prx, sen or fnc winning cause fuck those kpop stan fabases otherwise idc that much
eg won champs in the most cinema underdog run this game has ever seen sparked by an assitant coach knife, I accepted they could be ass forever after the 2023 roster imploded so I'm chilling
when did i say they were that good? I just said they're better than verno igl mibr
yeah my favourite team is also ass what does that have to do with anything
if you actually think verno igl mibr is better than c9 you're high. At least c9 have a consistent system and map pool even if I personally hate their skye comps
it was whoever decided to keep getting aspas an op on abyss attack at 11-8
because americas does tiebreakers differently for some reason and it's based on year-long head to head, which mibr have over both nrg and c9
liquid not losing a bo5 to giantsex or navi unfortunately, coaching staff is too good to let them mental boom even if bbl beats them
nrg won soop which is not funded by a royal family that dismembered a journalist with a bonesaw so americas clears
they needed to beat sen/g2 in bo5 anyway, it was never happening
prx fans trying to rewrite history claiming they choked champs 2023 when eg actually choked upper finals after being 11-6 up on pearl and grands wasn't even close is so funny. You know who did actually choke? G2 at bangkok but I'm not gonna flip that event to an americas W because I'm not a 50iq prx fan and give t1 the credit they're due
no it's impossible for both lev and nrg to make it, if lev wins this game mibr take a spot and sen/g2 are already in. For each team to make it by themselves lev need at least 2nd place and nrg need at least 3rd
nah geng are just frontrunners, they crumble when things stop going their way. Vit is more like 2024 nrg with the egos clashing and the bad igling but the ceiling was higher for the indivduals
guys please don't forget about nongshim...
anyone who watched them play split vs t1 in the lower bracket match knew this team was done, they had a confidence honeymoon early because their individuals were good and chemistry issues weren't apparent yet but as soon as they lost a match they crumbled
it's up there but most fraudulent has to be liquid tokyo, only barely beat edg then got rolled by eg and lost to nrg
imagine getting mad at being called dumb when you can't even read
they could win icebox and split too, especially if g2 has an off shooting day
idk if you can see my flair but it isn't a g2 one. I said g2 haters are generally stupid because every argument I hear for hating them is stupid and I've never heard a g2 hater say anything that showed me they understand the game of valorant at all so it's just a logical conclusion to make at that point. I mean at least I didn't say something provably dumb like that mibr are gonna improve once tejo gets nerfed or something, if I said something that stupid I wouldn't show my face on this forum again
geng won 5 pistols and lost, that's all you need to know
nah i don't buy the rest vs rust argument here, teams coming from lowers do tend to have less pressure but you're just showing so much. Also just logistically riot would never do it, they'd have to rent the finals venue for a extra day which is a lot of money
