Richest Orgs in NA

  1. SEN - Only in 2 Esports, has overwhelmingly less expenditures than other, bigger orgs and makes a lot more in terms of revenue from merch sales, and of course bundle sales

  2. G2 - In multiple esports and has a lot of cash to burn, but isn't profitable; will be forced to spend a lot of money to guarantee they don't lose their VCT spot next year though, since it will bring in a lot more money than it will cost to sign a big name

  3. NRG - Rich org, rich owners, wasted millions of dollars on an OWL league spot and has a horrible track record of financial decisions. Multiple sponsors but also definitely not profitable

  4. 100T - Hoodies bring in cash, nadeshot makes sure to keep the business running at all costs, which results in a lot of layoffs and periods of low spending--but as a testament to how much money they're able to spend despite that they sign some big names occasionally like Cryo or Boostio.

  5. C9 - broke org, lost a lot of money from a crypto deal same as TSM. Had money but now is forced to make budget roster after budget roster

  6. EG - New owners, but still clearly can't afford anything beyond the scraps that other teams leave behind--lucky to be in a region with rich t2 talent

Valorant isn’t the only esport in the world lol, you are overrating SEN’s bundle sales and merch by so much it’s not even funny. If you think SEN as an org is richer than anyone on this list but EG (also you left out FaZe and TSM who are definitely still richer than SEN), you are retarded

If we take the champs 23 bundle as a reference: https://esportsinsider.com/2023/12/riot-games-valorant-esports-finances

Within a period of a single month, players spent a combined amount of ~22 million USD on the Champs bundle

Here's what we know:

-Riot takes a 50% cut of all VCT Team Capsule sales.

-We know that of all the bundles, SEN sold the second-most after PRX from a riot tweet a while back.

-Taking into account that sales on the champs bundle would've been lower if it wasn't limited edition, and that not everyone is a SEN fan, let's assume that a single month's worth of sales for the SEN bundle provides just a fraction of the champs bundle. Furthermore, the team capsules aren't available year round, they're available for about 7-8 months.

As a lowball estimate: let's say a single month creates $2 million SEN bundle sales, multiply that by 8, and a single year brings SEN $8 million USD of revenue (50% of $16 million USD, the other half goes to riot).

With the knowledge that the highest Valorant salary to be leaked was Yay's 60k a month on Bleed (~0.7mil a year), we can safely assume that SEN makes drastically more money from their bundle sales than it costs to keep their roster.

Once again, SEN only has a valorant team, apex team, halo team of the 3, valorant salaries are comparatively a lot higher. Let's assume SEN is paying their players the highest possible salary, (0.7 mil a year) and is paying even like 0.2mil a year to each of their 3 apex players, that's 4.1 mil dollars in player salaries (i doubt the halo players are making much). maybe paying their other non-player staff costs 6 mil. That adds up to ~10.1 mil a year in expenses and ~8 mil in revenue from bundle sales

even then, taking into account SEN society and their jersey sales, SEN would still be breaking even and still have a lot of money saved up from Rob moore's personal bank account to sign whoever they want

EDIT: (60k a month is not 2 mil a year)

60k a month is nowhere close to 2m but speak your facts.

you're not factoring in the 25 other people on the team and the rent, utilities, and billions of other expenses orgs have. i doubt any of these orgs are turning a profit.

I took into account 4.1 mil for other staff, Housing realistically only costs like <1 mil total for all 5 players (max 250k a year per player which is being very very generous assuming they're living like royalty)

I doubt they have that many employees, 4.1 accounts for at least 41 employees working at an average high income salary of 100k a year doing anything from marketing to accounting to analysts

Bro 0.7 mil a year sounds right for most players except tenz and sacy they prolly take more

why would EG blow money on big players when they did pretty well once they got things figured out this season

just because an org doesnt blow 10 million on players with big stats doesnt mean theyre broke

yeah if they had any other player than Apoth, theyd have cooked

when they get Yay for next season and if they keep Jaw, they'll be scary, especially with the chamber buffs

I would say FaZe is probably the richest, like they are owned by GameSquare, not some content creator group

Bro sen ain't eh richest , don't u know like last year in sept time they were extremely close to bankruptcy, their expenditure was at the time 700k dollars a year, they had to corwd fund themselves in order to continue

they were never close to bankruptcy; the balance sheet was not positive fs but Rob Moore has a net worth of $200 million USD. He could've and probably did bail them out many times

Valorant salaries looks poor compared to CS and League. You are overestimating a content org like SEN who are dependent on Valorant bundles and merch sales for income. LOL

You should take a look at League teams and their sponsors. CS teams also pay their players in the millions, League even higher.

When I talk about richest orgs I mean the orgs with the most money to spend.

SEN is the only profitable org in NA, specifically because they don't have a league or CS team draining their cash reserves

was SEN not trying to crowdfund like a year ago? When tf did they get all the money back?
