Alvin is a great shout I think he's really good but he played all of 2 matches. Scarn and Nahsie are both like 22. I just don't think we have had that kind of player like Sato or Dantedeu that joined this season and became a menace. Certainly last season but idk man. My point is that NA hasn't really developed any new young talent this season besides maybe Spaz, bones, and the Blinn roster did pretty well for the half of a season they had.

• Lack of investment. 3/12 teams in Stage 2 of the NA league were either Universities or FA Orgs. SaD and YFP only play in Valorant yet show little investment into the actual rosters besides GC. DarkZero and FLUFFY both signed FA teams and are seemingly pulling out already.

• Lack of NEW talent. I don't think you name me more than 1 player that showed themselves to be promising in NA T2 this year that we didn't already know last year. Most of the teams are filled with T1 or T2 vets and then some older well known T3 players. Maybe Bones? There are so many younger players in just Americas Ascension proving themselves from South America. There are a lot of younger players in NA hitting top radiant and winning bigger tournaments in the region but they are all like 15.

Now, according to a Microsoft blog post about the recent Windows Endpoint Security Ecosystem Summit, the company is committing to providing “more security capabilities to solution providers outside of kernel mode.”

According to the blog post, Microsoft and many of its security partners and vendors discussed several aspects of the future of security in Windows, but moving security features out of the kernel has some interesting implications for the future of gaming on Linux. Removing kernel-level security software would mean that anti-cheat software would all have to be implemented with user access, making it much less intrusive and far easier to emulate with translation layers, like WINE or Valve's Proton.

Theoretically, this should make it easier for devices like the Steam Deck to run games like Paladins and Fortnite — whether Tim Sweeney likes it or not.
