Is Vyse actually good?

she's like a deadlock situation where u dont really want her as the solo senti because of lack of flank info but she's pretty solid

the worst agent on attack side BY FAR....on defense she can be good but its a bit tough to play her well

Picking vyse as a solo senti is a troll move, Cypher/KJ are better at their respective maps.

Pretty fun honestly. The wall is decent for flank watch but imo is best used for postplant to cut up retakes. Best played with another senti, but not the end of the world to play as a solo senti

Only use her at bind and I can say that shes pretty useful on that map, except for the wall which was a bit underwhelming

Meh, her util isn't that great at holding flank,
Still i don't think there's a single piece of her kit i wouldn't at least call good

She's not that fun to play. On attack her utils are terrible, defense its aight kinda mid

she is basically a better sage, but kj/cypher/chamber are still better

she has deadly b site sunset hold

Shit on attack good on defence that too on certain maps

her wall + spikes = impossible to reach the site, but it’s difficult to play as her in attack

They are some debate around her, I personally think the is the new Skye,,

Skye was doing vision and flash job, allowing the double smoke meta (without having to sacrifice the duelist and the sentinel)
Vyse do sentinel and flash job, allowing the double smoke meta (without having to sacrifice the duelist and the reveal)

Sure she is not as good as keeping flank in attack, but since 0 sentinel are already strong (Bind, GEN Breeze, EDG Lotus, EDG Abyss), you dont need a real sentinel to have a good compo, so she is in a perfect niche.

She may not be the best attacker agent, but it seems she is the best attacker sentinel, and her trap in defense maybe as good as other sentinel.

Conclusion : Her kit is mid, but she is in a perfect niche that will make her pickrate go to the moon, if Val was a 6v6 they would probably not be picked, but in 5v5 having an agent that can do 2 things is OP as fuck

Double smoke meta is, to me, inevitable, so if Vyze is too strong, the best solution will be to up Skye

PS : Stop wanting to play doble sentinel, thats an horrible team comp, lack of firepower in atk, Sage doble sentinel is ok because she isnt really a sentinel, was never played as a sentinel on fixBP or on keeping flank, and her kit is better in atk than in def, but other doble sentinel pick are 31 times, on 2208 composition in 2024 with 45% WR

Imo u need a second senti so that on attack the second senti can watch flanks and u can use vyse as backup initiator on attack

Vyse is incredible, i think people just need to get out of their head that all sentinels have to handle flank, i mean Sage doesn’t. so i dont think she will replace Cypher or KJ, but on maps like Split she could, (her wall mid is pretty good). Imo shes got the unique ability to separate execs better than any agent, and on attack her razorvines in a smoke go crazy (no flood retakes). Plus her flash is insanelh strong for info. She’s probably the third best sentinel in the game and in certain situations I think she could be the best

The expectations was not met tbh, she looked mega broken with the ult etc but after seeing it in ranked meh. maybe shes good on lotus but other than that cypher clears
