Me personally I needed another FPS game. I used to play Fortnite and R6 and those kinda went to shit and I found Valorant and decided to play it.

I got into VCT because when I launched Valorant one day on the side there was a news thing that said "Valorant Champions live now" or something and I clicked and it brought me to ACE v GMB and I watched a little. After the game I was interested and decided to keep up to see when it came back and watched.

i got into val cuz my friend wanted me to play with him, but before i could make an account he left, and i always had it downloaded but never opened it, and one day i just decided to play so thats basically it lol

i got into vct just cuz i found it entertaining to watch, first game i ever watched was optic vs loud finals, and i started to watch everything after that

Played phantom forces since 14, saw valorant and i said easy af game(arrogant i know) , it looked interesting too, so I played and peaked plat 😂 .

i dont remember how I started playing, just did. As for VCT idk it was in my yt recomended a vod of some OPTIC game (i think it was OPTC v XSET but idk) and I fell in love with yay (unironcly the man was just too good) then i watched every optc vod (since i didnt know where to watch the games live) and started watching games live at Copenhagen

i got into val because my friend wanted me to play and it all just went downhill from there. as for vct i got recommend an airen video and then just kept watching them lol.

Actually, I think I saw a video about the Premier release and thought hey, that's pretty cool so I joined. As for VCT, I saw the team bundle release and I was like ok even though I'm not buying shit I'm watching lots of games

I thought being a tryhard at chess meant I would be able to breeze through the gamesense side of the game and rank up easily like dasnerth

I got into valorant may 2021 because it was trending on my youtube page and i found the idea of agents with unique abilities super interesting, was so happy when i was finally able to play it

I got into vct because EG made it interesting to watch (so around champs 23)

I used to watch Disguised Toast (Among Us) vids and when he made a team, I kinda transferred from that to Valorant as well.

Nothing especial, my friend and i was bored after the Dayz Rp ends, so she forcerd me to play Val, bc she wanted a suporter.

I was a fan of Aspas and Sacy, so when i know that they was going to play at the same team, i started to watch.

My friend kinda just constantly streamed val to me on discord, so when I got a gud pc uh I started playing

i was getting too old for minecraft skywars

Being following since beta.. already a cs background (still follow cs aswell)…

I guess Tarik also helped because I’ve being watch him for an eternity

Idk just started watching cuz seemed like the best thing to do since I was interested in the competitive side

I first heard valorant from ex fortnite pro player AimHero_o. He tweeted out quitting fortnite for this new game called valorant.

I got into valorant cause the team I followed Crazy Raccoon make valo roster at the time, so I gave the game a go.

I followed VCT because valorant give asia teams equal slots, same as western teams to international events unlike fortnite they went full CS and completely neglect asia, but worse. Shutting down HK, KR, CN server, never end up making SEA server and moving ME server from india to qatar or something, making SEA players stuck with OCE/Tokyo 100 pings.

Valorant cares and fortnite doesn't basically.

a few pokemon youtuber/streamers i watched started getting into it/talking about it more openly at the start of 2022 so i wanted to see what its all about and now im here still malding in Gold 3 rank

an egirl who was bronze 1, told me to install it. and then after that i carried her to diamond in about a month after i learned the game lmfao

saw the beta drops and decided to try it out after playing minecraft pvp for like 3 years prior, 4 years later I'm still here and peaked imm

Not really into FPS until Apex release and watch ALGS, it was really fun to watch all the chaos happening
Want it to be the same with Valorant early on but still not really interested since most team especially emea are boring to watch
Until early Zeta and PRX bringing in their own unique style gameplay, i switch to fully follow VCT

I didn't really get into valorant. I didn't play for like 7 months due to moving to a new country so when I got to play CS, I sucked a lot :). I was tilted and I thought that maybe I just got tired of the game. Tried a bit of valorant, stomped unranked lobbies on jett (like silver 1-2 in cs, as impressive as pissing without hitting the seat). Main reason I didn't stick is the aim play, I just fucking hate the RnG, and CS has way less of it in my opinion. After that I came back and now I am in like 0.01% of CS players so thanks valorant I guess

Quit playing fortnite late 2019 and picked up csgo. The beta hype on twitch got me to play valorant.

My friends were begging me to play at some point so I said "fuck it, Ill download the chinese spyware" (yes, those were my exact words) and I liked the gunplay ever since. My first rank ever was gold 3 if im not mistaken, now I'm radiant and getting frustrated at every play that I watch in immortal lobbies.

As for VCT? Shit I don't even remember. I think it was 1st match of VCT 2022?
