Lock-In mickey mouse doesnt count. All imma say
CarnageBTC [#4]stop complaining baby boy .... u already had champs 2023 there

P1ngP0ng [#2]Typical American mindset thinking that the world revolves around them
1 singular event in Americas btw
AstroGalaxy [#5]we had one NA lan asia has had 3
yea this is true... the bias for apac and china is real on riot side... only 1 lan on NA and only 1 on EU even though they are the best regions in the game? on top of that the EU event was an 8 team mickey mouse tournament... jesus christ
Edit: i am counting only after franchising...
Tenzy [#6]brother as a man from eu, i sacrificed sleep to watch the games man, my sleep[ schedule may be fucked but eu is one of if not there biggest wieving parties
I dont disagree but you guys have had way more events, its okay for you guys to get fucked over every once in a while

You also got one in the middle eastern country on the european side.
P1ngP0ng [#2]Typical American mindset thinking that the world revolves around them
Bruh its difficult for even Americas players to get through the visa process(eg. LOUD after Madrid stuck in Iceland) Honestly I'm down for an event in New York, Atlanta or Toronto
We Asians thought the same thing last year,
Stop complaining, we don't cry when any event happens outside Asia, we enjoy it and it's a world league not a regional to start the match according to your comfort!
I don't give a fuck about getting negative feedback but every region deserves a chance to host.

only 1 on EU??? have you watched valorant esports, EU exclusively hosted all the masters and champs events in 2021-2022 iirc
P1ngP0ng [#2]Typical American mindset thinking that the world revolves around them
It does though??? Riot just wants every region to feel at home by doing this but we all know Americas is the only relevant region
UkieVAL [#21]...so watch the vods, world doesnt revolve around you and the NA timezones, stop whining
Can you not people not fucking read. You already had an APAC event with good times, you had shanghai with preferred APAC times, why not let champs follow Tokyo times. Its stupid pandering to EU who hosted like 5+ events
Yobo [#7]1 singular event in Americas btw
well AMERICAS had 2 in 2023 actually (LOCK//IN Sao Paulo and Champions 2023 Los Angeles)
didnt see pacificers complaining as much
notAGN [#24]feel our pain for once while we chill
for once??? brother all the events but ONE were in APAC favor

Irrelevent mickey mouse event vs the biggest international tournament of the year. Awesome man
Yobo [#18]1 singular event you had to suffer through, we had 1 event we DIDNT have to suffer through. We are NOT the same
Yeah but the thing is theres no reason to complain anyways, its a sport that will be played all over the world and you wont always be lucky enough to get picked to have the event in your region
riot has strong ties to apac and china they are respected ther both as a game company and as a business, poiny is someones gotta get fucked, dont complain abt just enjoy it and the fact that the game is growing and going everywhere
UkieVAL [#20]only 1 on EU??? have you watched valorant esports, EU exclusively hosted all the masters and champs events in 2021-2022 iirc
they shouldve kept it like that since its the best timezone for everyone
Yobo [#25]Can you not people not fucking read. You already had an APAC event with good times, you had shanghai with preferred APAC times, why not let champs follow Tokyo times. Its stupid pandering to EU who hosted like 5+ events
that's not how time zones works. for every event there will be a region that will have "bad times". this year it's NA. Again you can still watch VODs like the rest of the world or who have jobs
Yobo [#29]Irrelevent mickey mouse event vs the biggest international tournament of the year. Awesome man
wasnt irrelevant mickey mouse bro tf?
prize money exists. trophy exists. fame for being the first trophy winner in franchising exists.

NA Dont matter, KEKW jkjk love you guys.

Listen man if you wanna trade a single elim start of the year tournament for champs in NA, ill take it gladly
Yobo [#28]for once??? brother all the events but ONE were in APAC favor
been watching since 2020. 90% of the time I had to wake up/stay up at 2-5am to watch the games
Saiki_taha [#44]HAHAHA just noticed ur NRG flair, don't worry ur team's not attending champs anytime soon
youre talking like PRX arent there because APAC is a farmers league
Yoorake [#51]Holy entitlement there. Hope your young and learn from this stupid rage
Please explain the entitlement, thanks!
Yobo [#48]youre talking like PRX arent there because APAC is a farmers league
Team Secret eat Clown9 alive

in my country, we had to watch the grand finals of vct lock in, masters and champs during
vct masters Reykjavik 1 AM
vct masters berlin 12 AM
vct champions berlin 1:30 AM
vct masters Reykjavik 1 AM
vct masters Copenhagen 11 PM
vct champions 10:10 PM
vct lock in Sao Paulo 2:30 AM
vct masters Tokyo 12:30 PM
vct champions LA 3:30 AM
vct masters Madrid 12:15 AM
vct masters Shanghai 4:15 PM
unless someone living in my country is a nightowl, the time for the matches have been pretty late, especially during 2021 and 2022
Aayan [#57]lmfaooo bro hates eu so much he'd rather ruin his own sleep schedule, ladies and gentlemen this is what it looks like to be chronically online
1132 posts on vlr, Id rather kill myself than be you

Thanks for sharing. I wonder what this kid has to refute the receipts. And these timings were just for the first game of the day. If it goes OT the 2nd game is like 3-4am, sometimes I went to sleep just as the Sun came up.

This guy is literally proving my point. Apart from champs, none of the matches started at 3 fucking AM for you guys except champs. You at least had the opportunity to watch the first game for every event without obliterating your sleep schedule kid

genuinely curious, why are some starting at X:30 instead of X:00? was this a weird timezone thing, or was it a tournament schedule thing.
Yobo [#52]Please explain the entitlement, thanks!
you just assume that you should get events in your reigon
Yobo [#66]This guy is literally proving my point. Apart from champs, none of the matches started at 3 fucking AM for you guys except champs. You at least had the opportunity to watch the first game for every event without obliterating your sleep schedule kid
i did a quick google search and the time difference between my country and Washington, DC, USA is that ours is 12 hours ahead of them, so flipping the PM and AM, the time for people in Washington, DC, USA who are watching the grand finals of VCT masters lockin and champs are
vct masters Reykjavik 1 PM
vct masters berlin 12 PM
vct champions berlin 1:30 PM
vct masters Reykjavik 1 PM
vct masters Copenhagen 11 AM
vct champions 10:10 AM
vct lock in Sao Paulo 2:30 PM
vct masters Tokyo 12:30 AM
vct champions LA 3:30 PM
vct masters Madrid 12:15 PM
vct masters Shanghai 4:15 AM
yeah i get Washington, DC, USA doesn't make up the entirety of NA, but the time difference shouldn't be that big between each state, i think? maybe 1-2 hours diff. idk anything about your region or timezones so my bad if I'm making a wrong assumption.
Yobo [#25]Can you not people not fucking read. You already had an APAC event with good times, you had shanghai with preferred APAC times, why not let champs follow Tokyo times. Its stupid pandering to EU who hosted like 5+ events
bro, who actually gives a fuck, if you hate the time zones, then too bad, skill issue, stop complaining bro
laeDLaer [#32]they shouldve kept it like that since its the best timezone for everyone
no... they should be allowed to try out hosting in other countries, like tf, if this is bait its pisspoor
Yobo [#66]This guy is literally proving my point. Apart from champs, none of the matches started at 3 fucking AM for you guys except champs. You at least had the opportunity to watch the first game for every event without obliterating your sleep schedule kid
Yeah and not everyone wants to watch the 1st match. Some of the teams played the 2nd match of the day. You also have the opportunity to watch the games after you wake up. Calling others a kid is funny because you're the one swearing and whining about timezones. It's time for bed buddy, get off the internet, get a good rest and tune in tomorrow to see whether your team won.
Yobo [#18]1 singular event you had to suffer through, we had 1 event we DIDNT have to suffer through. We are NOT the same
You guys got 2 events bro!
Lock-in and Champs, events being hosted can never be mickey mouse!
I stay in India and I have to wake up at midnight and watch NRG play last year.
Events outside Asia we stay awake the whole night and watch we don't cry for that reason and I really try not to fall a sleep while watching them.
tipthetim [#67]genuinely curious, why are some starting at X:30 instead of X:00? was this a weird timezone thing, or was it a tournament schedule thing.
i dont recall since the events were long ago but iirc they're usually listed as X:00 in vlr and gets changed later on to suit the time when the first round begins (i think). i checked the schedules in liquipedia for champs 2023, some games were said to start during X:10, X:50, etc.

Great point but Grand finals are always hosted on a weekend. Most of the games are unwatchable
UkieVAL [#74]no... they should be allowed to try out hosting in other countries, like tf, if this is bait its pisspoor
no, i am counting since the beggining of franchise, this trend of calling everything you disagree with "bait" is stupid as fuck, peak brainrot from tiktok
Harapan845 [#70]you just assume that you should get events in your reigon
The whole thread is quite literally that an event in APAC had a semi watchable time and not the middle of night
AstroGalaxy [#3]tokyo was so peak
honestly I really liked that event
for an asia event it had such good times
It was awful for EU
Yobo [#80]Great point but Grand finals are always hosted on a weekend. Most of the games are unwatchable
yeah thats fair i guess. my stance on this is that the perfect time for someone can be an abysmal time for another person, even if they're from the same country or region. the game schedules can't completely satisfy everyone so it is what it is
amedy [#81]no, i am counting since the beggining of franchise, this trend of calling everything you disagree with "bait" is stupid as fuck, peak brainrot from tiktok
bro... who tf shit in your cereal, this didnt come from tiktok, this came from how it was worded, so fucking hostile lol

So says the guy who's up on vlr at 4am :)
