how do yall cope
Just look for the positives in life. No matter how little they are or how hard it is to find something, find it. Also lean on your friends. If you don’t have them, find some online. I promise you it gets a lot better. I was in the deep pits of hell two years ago, but I leaned on my friends and found positive things in my life to keep me going. Trust me bro, it all works out.

AstroGalaxy [#5]I wish I had friends but Im glad you're better
I have zero friends at school. I mainly text friends from my old school and my friends from the summer. I’m telling you, just put yourself out there. No matter how hard it is or that you think they’re gonna judge you, it’s better than not knowing
honestly? taking walks and listening to music helps. Talking with people at work and school, and at home if possible, doesnt have to be anything meaningful but just talking with someone else about random shit makes you feel better. Also if you gave felt this way for a while and arent feeling improvement, I recomend talking with a therapist or getting medication, its helped a lot with me.
SmithAndWinston [#29]cats are awesome
Bro cats are not ugly . You can clearly see em how they clean their mouth after food or body with the tongue respectively !

hope this helps
This might be a bit personal and possibly unrelated to your situation. I'm not depressed, but getting bad grades really bring down my mood by a lot because I have to meet certain benchmarks to get into the uni I want to attend. The way I get myself out of the slump is to simply hype myself up. I tell myself that I'll do better next time and I remind myself of the positive outcomes.
Think of the good things to propel yourself out of any bad situation, and don't hide from the things that bring you down. Tackle them and try to solve them. It'll make life better.
I assume you already have medication and maybe therapy, so here's other things that can help (and you probably have heard some of it so I'll try give examples):
2. Do small things that make you happy, like actually set a goal or more then one for a day and do it. For me I'm learning Japanese a little bit each day because I'm interested in the language and its fulfilling and I also work on game dev (though I could do better at keeping up with that). A few ideas is working out for a little bit, learning how to cook well (so you can enjoy nice meals), gardening (+ sunlight), or just anything that needs to be done each day, it can be anything just find something you enjoy that makes you feel good after you do it. Order to your life can be a big difference if you feel lost.
4. Eat healthy (enough), eating relatively healthy makes you feel good about yourself, but if its not affordable its fine.
I cant think of anything else right now, but I hope this helps.
Just remember that depression is a mental condition, there isn't anything wrong with you for being sad even if things seem nice around you, but I assume for you it doesn't.
Also, I'm just a random person on the internet who happens to have depression, so don't take my word for everything and just try to find what works for you :)
SuperRoss [#41]nah but if anyone actually has some advice it would go kinda hard ngl
Aren't you the guy who used to talk about pissing on trees?
GlitchGull [#43]I assume you already have medication and maybe therapy, so here's other things that can help (and you probably have heard some of it so I'll try give examples):
- Spend time in the sun, serotonin helps your mood, even just do it like 10 min a day it helps

- Meet up with people irl, I saw you said you don't have threads earlier in this thread, but if you have family you enjoy talking to it could be fun to hangout face to face. It may be hard, but try and make friends because you will feel so much better if you are able to even just socialize face to face
4. Eat healthy (enough), eating relatively healthy makes you feel good about yourself, but if its not affordable its fine.
- Sleep, if you can't sleep because of your depression talk to your doctor (I'm on a medication which makes me tired, so its perfect) and they might be able to do something for you. But please try and get sleep it helps so much

lol i aint got therapy or medication
find something you love doing, or learn something. keep yourself occupied with the things you like doing.
you could try to establish a routine and just DO IT, for example:
waking up at a certain time AND ACTUALLY GETTING UP, going for a morning or afternoon run (before or after school/uni/work). spending time working on yourself CONSISTENTLY (eg getting enough sleep, going to the gym, running, any exercise). improving yourself in other aspects (eg learning something you enjoy - coding, filmography, photography, music, etc).
and also like other people have said, try and make new connections with people, teachers, whoever. if that doesn’t fully appeal to you yet, that’s okay. over time, you’ll see some people gravitate to you, and you will gravitate to some people, and then that’s when you should make a genuine connection.
Time, consistency, a positive outlook and many other things are always key and without keys, it’s just that one tiny bit harder to unlock your inner happiness and potential.
cioccolat [#16]Get a pet you can like.
You can't die and leave the little guy behind
But make sure to properly search for a pet you would like, worsT thing is having a pet you despise but also knowing it aint their fault.
The last time I bought a pet, she ended up calling cops on me :(
I loved her so much </3
