Guaranteed they are going to get bodied by most teams, TenZ is insane but they just won't have nearly the same practice or preparation together that any of the other teams would have.

Yep TenZ said on stream the first time they will be playing together is literally the event. Also the agent roles won't be super comfy with ShahZaM moving off Jett like his sova is fine but he mentioned he doesn't really know lineups for some maps when he was playing on Haven yesterday on stream (but I bet he will be cram learning now). I'm curious what they do for Split or Icebox though which they play Raze/Reyna on - apparently TenZ is comfortable playing some other duelists so personally I would think it'd be better to put him on Raze/Reyna then if that's true (because we really haven't seen the ShahZaM raze...also I think he ops really well on icebox I'd still like to see some of his Jett). Like on paper and if they had a lot of time to figure out the roles it looks good, but in short term I do think people need to be a little more reserved with expectations (although it's exciting).

TenZ played a shit ton of Reyna and was easily the best Reyna in NA(maybe challenged by Shot_Up but TenZ was better) before he took a break and he has also played Raze in the past as well and has done pretty good on raze.

My best guess is that because Sentinels had to fully acquire him so that he could play, they made an agreement that C9 would fully end his contract for a short time, he would sign a super short contract to play with Sen, and then once masters is over he goes back and resigns with C9. That's just my guess.

The buying of the contract I think is just be within the rules of VCT and that no one player can represent two orgs. I thinking he is gonna be sold back to C9 after masters. My evidence for this thought is that there was no official goodbye from either party suggestion this isnt a perm departure. I think C9 made this move just to make a quick buck.

In cs, teams loan out players who technically become pros for the other team for a certain amount of time before going back to their original team. I am 99% sure that C9 loaned all rights of TenZ to sen for Masters 1 but afterwards, they will get him back. If sen permanently signed him, they would tweet that they signed him, not that he would just join them for masters 1...

I am 99% sure that C9 loaned all rights of TenZ to sen for Masters 1 but afterwards, they will get him back.

They literally cannot do this, as per Riot's rules. A loan would require him to retain his contract with Cloud9, with C9 signing an agreement with Sentinels in order for the latter org to use TenZ.

My theory is that Cloud9 and Sentinels reached an agreement for TenZ for a loan, but Riot disallowed it when it was brought forward, so Sentinels were forced to fully acquire TenZ to complete the deal. It's been confirmed that Sentinels' acquisition of TenZ is whole (in that he now has no contracts with Cloud9) and it's been claimed that the contract is as short as 30 days.

C9s tweet literally means nothing? Chances are sinatraa is out all together no matter the outcome. Its very likely that the people behind Sentinels dont want any o the drama to do with sinatraa and will terminate the contract. I highly doubt Sentinels would pay tenz out to loan out for the price tag would have been HUGE for someone of TenZ's profile. But then again anything is possible really..

I think you have to look at a lot more than how good the player is individually and how the scene has changed. Back when he was on c9 the competitive scene was a lot weaker, he might not be able to dominate the way he used to and even then, better teams used to be able to just shut him down and reduce his impact. Also he isn't a perfect slot in, some agent roles are going to have to be shuffled and they might be lacking in synergy since they haven't practiced together (apparently at all). I hope sen does well though
