honestly a tough question to answer my favorite tourney in valorant was lock in which had the most teams but i also really liked madrid i think there are pros and cons to each like we have never seen a lcq team do well at a champs bc they often arent very competitive with the top teams which leads to boring matches but it does bring extra viewership with that teams fanbase and with smaller tournaments the skill level will be closer across the board which leads to more engaging games but teams with huge viewership pulls will have a much harder time qualifying so idk neither are clearly better than the other

13-8 or 13-7 depends on the game like if there were a lot of clutches on the winning side i wouldnt say 13-8 is convincing or if a team gets double pistols like its expected you would close the game without them getting double digits

SEN literally lost to loud bro they fucking sucked and loud has a new roster sure you can say they were bad for their first couple of games but they were not complacent with being bad they did get a lot better also i was refering to like long stretches of time we have never seen loud be bad they have had poor performances before but have always bounced back

i think sen will be better this split i just dont think they will get back to their madrid form which is what they will need to beat other teams in their group americas is the most competitive region and any team in a slump will not win against teams who are in form. also loud have never been bad before sen have been bad for most of valorants history

Ranking where i think the teams will finish after split 2

1. LOUD

   i know i said i wouldnt put nrg higher bc i havent seen them play but i dont think louds season was even close to as bad as nrg. they got fucked by visas which gave them a slow start heading into split 1 which they started to recover and then they lost to 100t the winners of americas in a single elim game unlucky. so they dropped a underperforming duelist for a world champion mvp. i think saadhak is tired of losing and i could never doubt saadhak hes proved me wrong too many times

2. G2

   top 3 international finish tends to mean your a pretty good team and i dont think we have even come close to seeing this team at their peak icy has been getting better and better, valyns calling has improved every single match and they have a god coach i have very high hopes for them

3. KRU

   quite possibly the most unlucky team of split 1 shitting on everybody to get into playoffs then g2 cook the perfect gameplan against them and then aspas has a hero 1v4 to stop lev getting 2-0d in the lowers they beat 100t who won americas so they obv have the potential to be here i just hope the disappointment that was split 1 didnt effect them too much

4. 100T

   i think they will be the team that qualifies on champs points. they kinda showed their peak already and i dont see them getting much better they will be competitive for sure but i doubt they win back to back

5. NRG

   i like the changes they made and the meta and map pool changes favor this team a lot ive heard they have been shitting on good teams in scrims but id be foolish to rank them any higher without seeing them play a single time

6. LEV

   this team always seems like they are on the brink of collapse and we have seen them play super well and also terrible valorant also aspas being stuck in shanghai doesnt give me much hope on top of that a coaching change makes me think something happened behind the scenes i think they will have a pretty terrible split 2 but sneak into playoffs bc of their previous record

   i dont think a lot of people realized just how bad sen was in split 1 they only reason they even got wins was bc of mibr and furia who both went winless they obv have the potential to be great but if they play even half as bad as they did in split 1 they have no chance of beating g2, nrg, or kru

8. EG

   potter being potter is gonna help this team a lot i trust them to get better and they showed potential at the end of split 2 being able to beat underperforming teams

9. C9

   it might sound crazy considering their split 1 record but i think c9 sucks i hate their gameplan to just invest in oxy and none of their wins impressed me in any way they beat teams all at their worst point in the split and then bombed out of playoffs plus their group is much harder this split id be surprised if they even got a win

10. MIBR

    Its a completely different team to split 1 which i think is good and all the pickups besides maybe liazzi are good pickups palla is defiantly franchised material also i think frod is a good coach and will get the best out of these guys but i dont think that will be in this split but i could easily see this team upsetting underperforming teams similar to eg last split

11. FURIA

    I think xand is a good player but i think this team is dead and doesnt even care anymore since they have no chance at playoffs

i genuinely think they looked good both the new players were looking good the calling was solid they dismantled wolves who looked shit idk if they will beat edg but they are competing for 3rd fs

go hop in ranked and see how he fundamentally changes how the game is played. some people think hes reyna 2.0 but trust me this character is gonna see a lot of play in vct the winners of each of these regional tourneys is just gonna be whoever can adapt first. probably the best character we have seen in the game since peak jett or beta raze hes better than peak chamber and peak viper just harder to fit into a meta comp.

PHOENIX??? brotha there is literally zero reason to ever play phoenix just play kayo better flash, ult, molly, and signature. iso is not a jett or raze replacement the duelist role has 2 subclasses movement and initiator hybrid who fulfill a secondary duelist type of role. the role has been very weak for a very long time thats why you only see duelists as space makers but this year you have seen the rise of yoru which proves it can be valued in pro play and iso right now is 1 or 2 small buffs away from being a top agent in the game. his shield is just good it allows you to forsake a drone and pick a initiator with better execute utility, the vuln is good especially if your primary duelist is raze bc it combos well, the ult allows you to take a key agents utility off the map and gain a man advantage, and the wall can help you push out of choke points but ill admit its a rather weak ability. all they would have to do to make this agent meta is make the wall stoppable or you cant die in iso ult. and neon is shit she has no utility now with only 1 stun which is a cosmetic ability and being forced to entry on the ground just inherently makes her weaker than raze plus raze nerf is non existent. also she cant awp like jett which is the only reason jett sees any play
