entirely disagree pros wont gravitate to him because most arent innovative and will just stick to sova to push awps off lines but on raze maps his q has insane combo potential, the wall can be ok if used to scale after baiting out utility, and the ult is a free site and man advantage. if 3 of 4 abilities are good/great he can see play just wont be meta until they make the wall stoppable like harbor then he will be a top agent in the game

i mean you saw what valyn could do at shanghai ive been a valyn believer since tgrd the reason i had him over munchkin was i didnt think munchkins attack calling was very consistent like sometimes hes calling god halves and sometimes disasters but munchkins defense calling is insane

i agree omen is good on pretty much every map i just dont think omen > viper for this map. viper is essential to activate mid lurks and i think this map will play like icebox with a lot of executes with a late lurk in mid and i dont think sentinels are very good on this map besides chamber and you could prolly make kj work but i think other agents offer more so you need stall and viper is the best at stall.

i agree with your assessment besides astra and omen being the best controllers astra is better then omen bc of recall stars but omen is good but probably worse then most maps there are no good one ways for him and compared to harbor and viper they have way more value. also the only way your not running jett is if your running chamber

nah your on the right path harbor is insane on this map hes a must pick but most of the senti's suck on this map deadlock, sage, cypher all arent great so you need stall utility and on attack the only way to reliably activate mid lurks is with viper so running them both is optimal.
omen besides verticality has nothing over viper he also cant smoke from one side of the map to the other. zero reason i would pick omen over viper if im running harbor which as i said i think is a must pick. i dont think gekko is needed if you have a harbor cove to get plant down and his utility isnt that valuable outside of wingman on this map. breach is great on this map you can fit him into a comp if you running no senti + jett and sova. and i assume your talking about jett over iso which 100% prolly will happen but if you run chamber on this map which i think is better on defense then jett there is no reason to run jett bc shes useless on defense and i actually dont think a fast space maker is 100% necessary as long as you have an agent that can push awps off lines which iso excels at plus he can set up chamber on defense and his ult is insane with how the shield works now. and his vulnerable has some insane lines on defense.

his specific example as to what makes astra strong on the map was the ability to pull people into the void obv ik you can stall a plant with astra suck

gekko is mid no great early info flashes + flash can fall off the map + too much verticality for thrash. the molly and wigman are good but i think there are better ways to get plant down like cove or cove + iso e

omen is good but viper clears in this comp you have if you want to activate lurks in mid shes essential + no senti you need stall utility

the problem with neon is you need an awp on the map so either chamber or jett and jett has so much outplay with being able to drift in the air so i think she clears neon but imo chamber has better lines he can hold with the tp vs jett dash so thats my reasoning for the cook with iso

astra is good some good recall stars the smokes are big but the stun isnt great and the pull isnt instant anymore so if your falling off the map to a pull you deserve to die.

omen is good like on all maps and the verticality is good but harbor can smoke the sites way better and only wall smokes can block b main and you need a harbor to default towards b.

what i think pros will play cuz its ez and most are not innovative

if there is a meta viper setup on attack obv viper over kj and i genuinely believe iso is really fucking good now and none of the drone agents seem to have much value sova has no good darts on b site and too much elevation change for his ult, skye is just mid now and double flashes aint gonna happen, fade has maybe some potential but without raze her seize isnt very good. iso can push jetts off lines so easy
