you talk about japanese orgs, but you can't really have all the japanese orgs take the place of GE and their copycats, who are just hanging around

still you have that 10 team limit tho
good idea, but then are you sure there will be orgs willing to enter vct?
I mean you could theoratically entertain relegation, buuuuuuuuuuut then the entire point of franchising is nullified
free rider problem is common in franchising leagues in other sports as well. Charlotte Hornets are just there, As in baseball are just there, closed league by default enables some orgs not to win or try to just earn as much as possible
I feel like navi's position is completely understandable, against war-supporting, not against people who want the war to stop. NaVi would allow their russian CS players to stay with the team as long as they wanted, they just didn't want to stick around in an english speaking roster, it was the player's decision. like imagine chronicle wants to join navi, if he is against the war in Ukraine and given that he likely lives somewhere in EU, I don't see a problem with him being in navi
of ukrainian origin
in the post, my autism prevented me from finding a fitting synonym so I just used quote.now I know that sentence makes the most sense
''If you cant perform good throughout the whole yearr, GOODBYE (d0rke)''
This quote is fucking hillarious knowing that the team retained a 9 avg kill demon
he should honestly get his bros xqc, krimbo, ohnepixel and woro2k to help himngl
I am sorry, what? War started on Feb 24th 2022, Franchising started in 2023? was the talk that early??
C9, EG, Furia, MIBR, LOUD, is it over bros?
you can change it, not a gigantic problem tbh
who is the s1mple of the team?
How the fuck is half of Franchising American Orgs trying to run on economy????
I still remember being shocked that navi lost in katowice 2019 to fucking ence (imagine leviatan losing to trace not in the groups but in the semi final) and I still coped with the ''well at least they got more rounds'' :D https://www.hltv.org/matches/2331079/natus-vincere-vs-ence-iem-katowice-2019
Sources: MIBR's and Global Esports' VCT slots are set for reevaluation after the 2025 season. These aren't the only ones, as several other teams are also set to undergo similar reevaluations.
my favourite type of scoregami is when the winner of the series gets less rounds won than the loser
humanity landed on mars, gta 7 was released, cure to cancer was found, global warming was stopped, cs and val fans still argue in youtube shorts comments over anti cheat and replay system still missing
Is it possible that the POVs we see during broadcast are just OBS recordings of the game :D
honestly, fuck franchising, so many talents but just not enough slots
There is some franchise drama happening, if you want more action you can watch other games as well. If you are into 5v5 fps then you can try watching EPL for CS, like 3-4 games every day I believe
Riot are allergic to a replay system. Valve are allergic to an anti cheat and the number 3
I mean in russian speaking europe people just treat Valo as just another game, like Rocket League or Fortnite. CIS has a pipeline of young talents just following one another
I mean it isn't sadly, navi would get fucked in Ukraine by the entire media
not very fond of dealing with russian orgs and players who are pro-war
Pretty sure navi would require anyone russian to address themselves as non-representing for navi to sign them
The backbone of EU domination in CS are 2 regions: Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. I don't know about Scandinavia, but when it comes to valorant, it is unpopular when it comes to Russian speaking part of Europe. Most streamers are cs and dota affiliated and CS and Dota are so engraved into the gaming sphere there that it's impossible for any game to fight them.
Seems like a perfect opportunity to go full mute with spotify in the background and stomp some noobs
I didn't really get into valorant. I didn't play for like 7 months due to moving to a new country so when I got to play CS, I sucked a lot :). I was tilted and I thought that maybe I just got tired of the game. Tried a bit of valorant, stomped unranked lobbies on jett (like silver 1-2 in cs, as impressive as pissing without hitting the seat). Main reason I didn't stick is the aim play, I just fucking hate the RnG, and CS has way less of it in my opinion. After that I came back and now I am in like 0.01% of CS players so thanks valorant I guess
I really like these rebrands where the team shits on its unique style and just becomes a ''ChatGPT created minimalistic logo where you need the name of the team on the bottom to understand who the fuck this team is'' logo again
because ESIC is ran by people with an iq of an infant gorilla
tier 2 exists and you have some good teams there but then you have pricks like Z10, PERA who just matchfix
betboom is just the shittiest tier 1.5 event ever. you have spirit and mouz and some other tier 2 teams. EPL gets only good at playoffs, the best event in the coming weeks is probably blast final
Riot have been at the ESports awards hosted by EWC and LoL was at EWC, I am sure they will manage working with esl
But that could easily be avoided with a more structured tier 2 scene. That way being kicked from T1 isn't a fall from grace but rather a step in the other direction
I just don't like the look of it. It literally looks like F1. nepotists stay, real talent has to be perfect from the Get-Go or they get sent away forever.
I just feel like it will turn into a hot seat. Bad in one season? Out and never coming back because your rep is fucked. This is the exact reason tenz left from cs, he had one good shot at proving himself, wasn't good enough, got kicked and then never came back to tier 1
and what if the managements in tier 1 will just ditch them after one season ( not even due to their faults)
but it's only one region. Others are getting fucked
I just feel like vct will inevitably cuck itself out of talent. The biggest failure vct can suffer long term is that the tier 2 talent it has stolen from CS will just migrate back.
I meant just letting blast and esl in. It saves a lot of cash and makes the schedule more solid
context behind the nickname came in more clutch than suygetsu in copenhagen
how can a TO possibly fuck up that bad?
they should probably try going the CS route and outsource events for TOs.
