EU dominates CSGO
South Korea dominates LoL and OW (China also very solid at those two games)

Not sure about other games but for Valorant, will we ever have a region dominate it?
EMEA and Americas are neck and neck. Pacific and China claimed their first win.

Americas has more Champs than EMEA. They have the same amount of masters.
Americas > EMEA

Valorant is RIOT at the end of the day, so KR/CN should be dominant.

It's still early,

Still, with how similar to cs the game can be you'd expect EU to do better as time goes on, the game can be very tactical and eu teams seem to be innovating a lot

However, the format riot has implemented greatly favours ASIA by potentially giving them 8 (at least 4) teams to any intercontinental tournament (that's half of the teams, btw), if we think that this will continue here's no reason to believe any other region will have a shot at dominating the scene.

NA probably have the most revenue, but idk, and could probably buy mist players they want, but they still only share 4 spots with SA

SA is just always insane but I'm not sure for how long they can keep going sharing 4 spots with another region

Oceania have a few good teams, having to fight through apac makes it pretty impossible they can dominate as a region tho

For an Africa team to qualify for a masters or champs they'd have to win their league, win ascension against eu teams and qualify from the emea league, that's a 2 year road just to get in there, nvm dominate as a region

The backbone of EU domination in CS are 2 regions: Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. I don't know about Scandinavia, but when it comes to valorant, it is unpopular when it comes to Russian speaking part of Europe. Most streamers are cs and dota affiliated and CS and Dota are so engraved into the gaming sphere there that it's impossible for any game to fight them.

Yeah I think EU will just stick to cs tbh I dont think emea Val will be anywhere close to as dominant as CS EU

I mean in russian speaking europe people just treat Valo as just another game, like Rocket League or Fortnite. CIS has a pipeline of young talents just following one another

China 100% i think they have a great team with EDG and that it'll inspire alot of new players.
i don't think the game is as popular in Korea as LoL is over there. so idk.

big chance EU falls off though, the only game we are good in is CS but i dont know if there are even many CN/Kr teams in Cs

Rocket league (mainly the french but its still EU).and Dota are the ones that come to mind

I mean Rocket league isnt a game that many Chinese teams or Korean teams have an interest in right? none of the big orgs are invested i think so that doesnt offer then much competition. Idk if NA has invested in it though.

Dota 2 i don't know much about so that could be true.

But if you look at it all EU only dominates the games CN/KR arent intersted in or not as invested in.

No. When there's players like wo0t and verno getting developed and getting more experienced I think Valorant leans towards diversity in the regions like what happened this year.

EU and NA are generally better at fps games, both have pretty deep talent pool for the moment

Valorant is a Riot game so Pacific and China will always have a deep talent pool

wont be dominated by a region for at least 10 years from what I see
