As we evalute the next steps for our Valorant team, we will be moving @BonecoldVAL to the bench. We are grateful for the role he played in our success, and have no doubt he’ll find success in a new team!

Bonecold remains under contract but is free to explore new opportunities.

This. Some players won't be able to adapt, some players will consistently stay t1, but for sure we'll see much more frequent roster changes in Valorant than in CS, making the top teams stay in constant flux.

At least for now. The only teams that have the tactical depth and put in the work to consistently stay on top right now are fnatic and Gambit if you ask me.

I said Meddo for a role matter, you need someone that is able to play Chamber, and idk if Meddo can Op. Meanwhile with Mix you can just leave him as Sentinel and put Bonecold on the role Meddo is trying to learn rn, instead of playing double sentinel comps like they tried

Meddo could flex to chamber imo, but imo there's actually no need because Mixwell plays him. When Mixwell is on chamber, nukkye takes the duelist (not counting icebox) and Meddo usually flex to another roles (Breach, Viper...). I think it's okay like this because both Mixwell and Meddo RIGHT NOW are playing very well.

The only thing G2 needs right now is consistency, not chaning roles every time they lose a match.

IGL’s can stop IGLing, Bonecold became IGL when G2 took Kolda and his firepower significantly decreased, but I’m sure he can get it back

It's really only G2. THe problem is that T1 EU is so much farther ahead the T2 scene than what it is in NA. Like the difference between XSET and a team like Akrew is so much different than something like Guild and Tenstar. For Bonecold it's either play an off role on G2, move to NA and be IGL for 100T or some team similar or work on a team like Giants, XL, etc and hope to create the next Acend

I’ve had my questions about Bonecold and his agent pool in the past but going into the current patch and Brim/Omen coming back into the overall meta, I thought he was going to benefit greatly, despite the situation with Zeek (hope he’s doing better btw). Really expected Kiles to be the one to get cut coming into Challengers 2, like a Sentinel player is never expected to put up crazy numbers or anything but his play felt very underwhelming beyond K/D for this entire stage. Idk how to feel about this move tbh. Maybe internal issues?
