These orgs can't surely keep their rosters like this?
ardiis to Liquid? Why not at this point, they desperately needs a Sova
-Who
+Who
?
EDIT:
Cloud9
Fnatic
Vitality
G2 have never had good firepower.(Except that time with Ardiis being good or Patitek on Reyna) They've always been a shithole ever since the rest of EU learned you could counter aggression. Mixwel is probably the worst duelist in a tier 1 org where his passive use of Jett makes him way less than a threat and he has legit in not a single match I've watched as a analyst in 2021 had a surprising good play on the agent who mind you he has been playing for over half a year now. He is the genuine problem when it comes to firepower since he is the one that is supposed to get the big picks in the compositions they run.
the teams that has disappointed in NA
TSM
Cloud9
T1
Cloud9 and T1 have built their roster totally in a new way so its understandable, probably gonna take time to perfect everything.
and for EU
G2
Team Liquid
Fnatic
Vitality
Giants
OG
Wave
we all know G2 needs an igl
about Liquid, they just brought Jampi so might take time
Fnatic just unfortunate ig
Vitality is totally not doing good enough
Giants benched happy idk y
OG lost big time for some reason, they showed a lot of potential in Redbull home grounds and VCT qualifiers
Wave maybe just needs time
all my personal opinions, I could be drastically wrong, just let me know my mistakes :D
Honestly, I prefer the old T1 roster. When Dazed was asked in an interview to make his dream team out of any players, banned or unbanned, Dazed replied:
Me (Dazed)
Azk
Swag (Brax)
Ska
and Stewie2k
They did well in 1st strike, Azk was underperforming a bit so they had to let him go.
The current roster has potential and I think as smart Dazed is, he should try a bit harder to make strats. Twitch chat mostly says Dazed is failing because he makes valorant strats as if its CS.
Just want to comment here.
There is no need for roster changes when organisations are in it for the long run. Sure, a lot of tier one teams were beaten by talents. But don't forget that these teams all have results to back up their skill. In the future, when top teams have time to develop to opponents that are rather unpredictable, we'll see a lot better results.
With that being said, there's nothing wrong with the roster of Liquid, G2 or Fnatic.
Starting with G2:
They're a top team that had an amazing run in almost every tournament that has ever been held thus far, their potential to achieve greatness is unlimited thanks to the skill of the players.
Liquid:
Sure, benching your IGL and signing a CS player that has barley had any time to adjust to the VALORANT environment is rather questionable. But the way I see it, if you give Jamppi two months to get used to the style and feel of the game and if he really wants to put in the effort Liquid will reign supreme once again.
Fnatic:
They have amazing results against top teams, good tournament finishes and most of all they're PUTTING IN THE WORK.
To summarize, these organisations couldn't give a single crap if the teams qualified or not. From a company prespective, they like to see things long-term. They believe that the players that they've signed have the potential to improve to such an extent that they will infact be a top contendor. And ALL these teams have the potential, it's just up to them to put in the work.
Well said but sometimes org do take things like "underperforming" into consideration for benching the player (you as a pro player know it better than anyone). In other times, when there is a cracked CS player or a really talented free agent, orgs try to put their hands on them even if it costs them something like benching a player. As a professional player, you can point more things out than I and others can and obviously you will be right about most of the things. Congratulations on making it to masters, I wish you and Guild Goodluck <3
T1 is good but having made some roster moves just slows their progress
TSM is also good, but inconsistency is the thorn in their step for them. Drone and Subroza need to find their middle ground and stay on it
C9 WAS good, but TenZ left the roster, and that's a big downgrade since he wasa good entry fragger, and now they barely beat teams like Ghost?? cmon now
As for Liquid, They just shit the bed against good teams, idk why
So you're saying C9 should drop Leaf, poiz and xeta? And that EG should drop Aleksandar and Temperature? And that Vitality should drop everyone? Leaf is probably a top 20-25 player in NA, poiz is a young and upcoming talent and is a very good player and xeta can play many roles and play them very well. Aleksandar is a top 15 aimer in NA and Temperature is a very good support player. For Vitality I'm not sure what they need to do. It's not liek everyone on their team is bad but they just need to be better. I think they just need an upgrade over bramz cause everyone else are good players and there's probably not much better available.
