nobody is gaming on ultra 9 285k gang and if anyone buys intel 14th, 13th or 12th gen CPU's is getting scammed. The socket for rapterlake is discontinued meaning you would have to buy a whole ass new CPU and MOTHERBOARD just to upgrade instead of just going with AM5 and keeping the socket for what the next 10 years?

even a "fine tuned" 14900k is not beating a now overclockable 9800x3d, i myself am running it at 5.45GHz and get around 800fps with high 500 1% lows on 1440p
