Riot Games bias

Is it just me or Riot seems way, WAY too biased toward China and Korea even in Valorant?

China always has the best production, stages, hell they even play their playoff games at a much bigger venue. Same goes for Pacific. There are very little tech pauses and everything is smooth sailing for the most part.

Then we come to EMEA and holy fuck why is there are a 3 hour long tech pauses every single week? They fired so many people behind the production to cut costs (or to save more costs for Pacific and China rather), and the players have to play on crappy setups with not even single digit ping. Unbelievable.

Riot could have bought PCs for emea with the money they spent on kangkang propaganda

vct cn has a way larger viewerbase so id consider it logical that they have bigger stage
no excuses for emea tho, emea and aner are way underfunded

Regional production teams exists.

And when China is handled by TJ Sports (the mastermind behind LPL) and HERO Esports (the mastermind behind a lot of FPS and other major CN esports production)

And Pacific is run by SOOP (or Afreeca, one of the oldest and tenured esports platform in Korea), things tend to go well.

Of course each region has its hiccups, but legitimately, what the fuck.

A good start for Riot is to optimize their berlin venue for valorant. I agree with the pros who have complained about this.

riots parent company is chinese + games and esports are huge on the east so not really surprising they invest a lot there

that said americas production is overall pretty good (while it could be better) emea seems to be the problem here

EMEA has always gotten the short end of the stick. They have the most boring venue/stage and the absolute worst production. Legit worse than some of the cheap shit t2 production has given us.

China and Pacific are the most profitable regions because of low cost and high margins. NA is high revenue generating region but the cost is too high to run whereas EU is low revenue generating with high cost !! thats my hypothesis

what makes you so confident that the emea funding and china/korea production budgets are even related. ever consider that it is different teams/companies running it and some might just be better at their jobs than others?
