T3xture also kida struggled on duelist mostly due to comm'ing issues during his time with GE. from what I hear he himself asked to shift his role too.
But honestly, Riot's format for tier 1 doesn't really let teams set up in the long term, unless you are willing to be mid for a couple of seasons and build brick by brick (I wanna say kinda like RRQ). The number of matches on stage are very less for the players to get their reps and learn from their mistakes on stage. The last 2 iterations of GE's rosters have improved over time (2nd roster: ever so slightly) but it's too late by the end of the season. The fact that they nuke the rosters (for whatever reason, even if it is out of their control/they are unwilling to do so) and start from scratch each year doesn't help too. For this reason, I hope they atleast stick to a core and build with the long term in mind.
