I get he is consistently a top player, but he has 1 trophy only, and yes it is a champs but then why is someone like Less not on the same level when they have done the same thing? Also has Sacy not been consistent asf since the start HAS the champs AND a masters across 2 teams? Why is he not in the goat convo but Aspas is? (Also I guess we are ignoring Chronicle now)

1) Sacy did not make SEN better? They were complete shit a won a tournament with him on the team, they were shit in 2023 because of d0phh and constant roster moves
2) Chronicle has not been on a non-talented roster (because he earns the right not to), has apsas? LOUD was stacked, LEV had a great roster with 2 world champs and tons of experience, and MIBR has 3 incredible rookies and Artzin is in great form.
1) Sacy was a good player, but his addition did not make Sen a better team, as evident when Sen still couldn't win games in 2023, only by adding kaplan and subbing in zellsis did Sen start to look like a strong team, also there was not constant roster moves in 2023, that was 2022.
2) Aspas has been on a roster without talent, favela aimers and SLICK, meanwhile, even when Chronicle was on FVT, nats was also there. Also, Lev was not an experienced roster, it was made like 2-3 months before kickoff, and c0m was added last minute, and even though a lot of the players had individual experience, that doesn't always translate to playing well, look at DFM for example. And at the beginning of the season everybody thought that MIBR would be aspas and friends and that the 3 rookies weren't nearly as good as they have been. Finally, when is consistently going negative "good form?"
If you only care about trophies sure, but he is consistently the best player on every team he's on. And, his lowest champs placement is 3rd without missing a champs since he started playing. Sacy/Chron are also up there, but chron 2024 and sacy 2023 lower their status for me, also neither of them are as mechanically good as aspas.

but they are equally impressive all time, and yes if you never win the big one you cannot be the goat, and if you can win multiple ESPECIALLY over multiple years and meta's, it just shows that players can be the best in the world at multiple times.
Like imagine if aspas had not won a tournament, if trophies are not important would he still be in the GOAT discussion?
What makes Aspas impressive is that he is making all of this shit in completely different teams, 3 of them.
Its easy to forget at this point but MIBR was quite literally the WORST TEAM IN FRANCHISING HISTORY. Aspas joins and they are suddenly top 3 in Americas no questions asked. He's been carrying teams to greatness since ever, no one else is doing that. If Derke joined KOI it would be suicidal for his career, but for Aspas is just what he does.

He is the GOAT, accept it, he makes any horrible team a competitive team, I doubt MIBR would be as competitive without him, he has been in his prime since 2022, carrying teams since 2022, I think he is one of the only players who were avoided during the match because he is so good, he made that horrible LEV team become Americas champion, accept that he is the best, just accept it
I DOUBT you wouldn't consider him the GOAT if he was a NA player
C0M is very overrated, kiNgg was no longer at his best and Tex started 2024 very badly, Aspas carried that team
And obviously he built the MIBR team around him, he had that power, after all he is the GOAT, I don't think there is a player in the world who can arrive at a team and simply kick 4 players to bring whoever he wants.
