FNS mechanics were always mid
his actual IGL calling has always been really good, regardless of the teammates around. Like split 2 last year and so far this season his calls have not been the problem.

He's easily on the current mount rushmore of IGLs in this game

I'm just talking overall on his time in 2023-present, it hasnt been as perfect as the Optic superteam yeah and that plays a factor but metas also matter and then also the competition getting better.

this^^^ also took nrg to being the second best in americas and making their first international. game is jsut too fast paced with a lot of util making it hard to see the impact fns has. his calls are still really good, but the meta rn doesnt really benefit from playing slow on attack

I don't really know of anyone calling him the goat IGL unless they just don't know any IGLs. He's also really not as bad as you're making him out to be. He's been pretty bad this year, but the end of last year can be forgiven with how sudden it was, and he's been consistently fine besides his standout optic years. All his other teams succeeded and were pretty good. Might be washed now, but saying he's always been bad is revisionist.
