everyone blaming NRG because now Verno talks more and is performing better on MIBR-You guys dont get. he was cut from NRG for not comming often-and since hes a good player and wants to improve he has worked on what got him cut-his comms and now has improved them. You are all blaming NRG when you should be praising Verno for recognizing his flaws, working on them, and being able to prove he can grow as a player. And if you say "why didnt NRG just tell him this so he could improve because clearly he is capable" they said that they did talk to him about their issues-I think getting dropped is what he needed as he got wake up call and realized he cant just coast as a playeron his aim like he did in t2-and he worked hard between kickoff and stage 1 to prove that.

This bodes extermly well for Vernos future as if he continues to spot flaws, recive the critsicm and improve himself he will be continue to be a great player and teammate in the future

I mean doing something as simple as talking more isnt that hard to do-especially if youre young and feel as though this is one of your last chances in t1 if this doesnt suceed. NRG have names that have lots of influence and if they bad mouth you you will lose tons of oppurtunities (I mean look how much the community turned on him after they dropped him)

I mean ofc they will, they dont want to have drama right away. Also they prob dont have drama yet because the dude is like less than a week with the team.

That being said I'm not saying he def is the problem still or anything, I just don't believe on "he changed" kinda phrases because they had the first game with the new team and it went well. There's a need to "wait and see".

The problem is that they made him a scapegoat, and tried to slander him. Verno talked in an interview of how strange it was that a team drops a player and his ex-teammates just shittalks him and portrays him as a bad player for the whole scene, thats fucked. And he is only 18 yrs old

I'm sorry, but Shaiiko is not better than half of the Brazilian cores out there, and ZywOo isn't individually the GOAT. Maybe if s1mple didn't exist, we could make that statement.

In the valorant Val scene, in my opinion its based on the fact that you guys do not have a big french only core,and looking further in the EU val scene its not look like its gonna happen sonner, Gentle mates are so bad that make do not believe in you guys anymore

i don't think nrg would just straight up lie about verno not comming but if he isn't comming i doubt it's because he doesn't know how to, it's likely because he felt uncomfortable with the team and there was just no synergy with him and the rest of the team

i think it was the best decision for both nrg and verno for them to part ways, i think verno looks a lot more comfortable on mibr and brawk meshes well with the guys on nrg (from what i've seen at least, he looks active)

I agree-but I think its very different for a team to drop you because of low/no chem and a team to drop you and then blame everything on you on their podcast-especially as a young player that is a very demoralizing thing to here + that these huge names that are regarded highly and have lots of influence are blaming their losses on you means that you will prob lose a ton more oppurtunities because you are now a big risk to pick up.

I mean verno's comms in oxygen were amazing and all of his teammates from that team have praised him for how hard working he was so idk I think its fair to blame it on nrg that things didn't work out

The truth is that NRG try to be more methodical team because they lack firepower. prob staff and IGL tried to make Verno to kill a lot, obey them, play how they want to be played with zero freedom, prob he felt like he needed to carry every match, play god as utlity and even so obey them. During Brazilian interview he always mentioned that one of first things he noticed is that his team everyone is good, everyone can kill. he can 'depend' on then. and that their IGL now are good as well, etc.
I felt like he felt he lacked freedom to do anything at NRG compared to now, at NRG probably he got treated as a rookie who needed to obey at all cost, now, even if MIBR IGL ask him to do X thing he probably doesn't feel like he need to do everything now because his team actually can kill now.

Prob now he have more freedom, can mid round, can talk, can give his opinions, its more he felt more included now than being at NRG.
Many times at interview he said that Valorant is a game that you need to adapt, need to change, etc. Not sure how NRG included him but prob he felt 'stuck' with gameplan without being able to have more freedom and just follow as what gameplan they did and what their IGL says and still expected to kill and carry otherwise he suck.

It's always easier to blame somebody than congratulate.

Same as:
Easier to talk about a bad experience than recommend something good.
Easier to shit on someone without knowing context.
Easier to create a "most hated" list than the opposite.

And sorry to say this, but this is a generational thing. I'm an uncle and nowadays internet is a place where people just try to fight and win arguments in socials about the most miserable things.

people talking about nrg "shit talking" are coping IMO, they literally just expressed their experience and how it didn't turn out well for either party. I'm glad verno didn't bomb out of t1 tho
