I think everyone agrees when i say Aspas is the best player in the world. Hes been on multiple teams and never once has he looked bad. But with that being said, KK in his own right looks like one of the best. Sure he had one lull last year, but he regained form and I genuinely want to know when we can start comparing KK to aspas as the best player in the world

Does he though? I feel like aspas is the best player based off how consistently good he is. Hes been on multiple teams while Derke and KK have only been on one team. I want to see how derke performs for the rest of the year though.

Also ngl, I feel like aspas and kk just have more aura. No shade to derke but if i wanna watch a highlight reel of KK or derke, im watching KK

EDG is not so strong because of KangKang, they are so strong because of being a perfect unit.

I'd say career wise aspas and Derke are #1 and #2 and then comes KangKang - several reasons for that.

But (!) EDG also have CHICHOO AND Smoggy, which belong to the top 3 players worldwide on their positions as well. EDG is like Heretics but more experienced.

imo this convo can happen when china becomes stronger as a region altogether, i'd say its harder for aspas to qual to intl events, especially now with the mibr team compared to other NA teams, we'll see how they fair though as they placed top 3

Kangkang is the Aspas of China, and Derke is the Aspas of EMEA. Zekken and Jawgemo underperforming and not being consistent is a sad reality for NA duelists. Demon1 included.

Hard to say that Zmjjkk is better than both because now Aspas and Derke showed that they can play 'good' at any team. Just see what aspas did with MIBR.

Many players that we see as 'good' they are basically good at only one team like yay, demon1, etc.. after changing team they always suck somehow.
Consistent ones only Aspas and Derke for now.

The difference is that Aspas has been on several rosters and been successful whereas Kang Kang has only really been on one roster so its hard to compare. You would need to start comparing hypotheticals for it to be fair.

Although, it should be said that regardless of which roster Aspas has been on, Kang Kangs overall peak during the tournament was arguably higher.
