Ik Karon and Riens are probably more deserving, but s1mon joined EDG like a month ago and suddenly EDG is a champion winning team.

135, didnt predict groups in time

posted 3 months ago

honestly I cant believe they won this year

posted 3 months ago

he tweeted after edg beat leviatan that 'china number 1' or something

posted 3 months ago

bro took it back two days ago tbf tho

Aspas is more consistent. Kang kang had the best performance in a bo5 but he would need to keep it up to be in that convo tbh. Aspas has done well on so many different rosters which makes it hard to ever remove him from an argument.

I mean, the translations aren't really wrong? Not 100% accurate but idk any translators that are? (to be fair, I have no clue if other translators are accurate in their translations in other languages)

I NEVER LOST HOPE

posted 3 months ago

to be fair, they do have the best abyss in the world, so that map was just cementing that

bro u guys are ruthless

posted 4 months ago

He is quite inconsistent though. This off-season will be very important for him.

*2 million LOL

posted about a year ago

they didnt even tech pause when edg disconnected at 11-7 lol.

posted about a year ago

then kang kang still drops 100 1-0. Tho, this match is no longer as hype since DRX is using a mix of their academy and main team.

EDG 2-0 Kang Kang drops 100

posted about a year ago

was there actual cheating involved though? With like hacks or something?

posted about a year ago

wait, are you the original?

posted about a year ago

You mean Loud on Haven right? Cause, he did overheat in the final round on haven.

posted about a year ago

how tf is BLG bottom tier if they were top 8 this event and slapped NRG? And Giants looked like the 2nd-3rd best EMEA team this tournament too.

posted about a year ago

Maybe not a crazy take but EDG win champions 2024.

posted about a year ago

True, although Kang Kang has acknowledged this in press conference interviews. This is the problem with a lot of young players with a lot of firepower; they tend to overextend due to lack of experience.

posted about a year ago

Probably the most consistent duelist and entry rifler but he wasn't really a "star" (in the sense that he was the person everyones attention was on) player and was overshadowed by Wardell.

posted about a year ago

How tf was he not the goat when he was playing?

posted about a year ago

ngl, I thought sayf was good although inconsistent here and there. Redgar omen is troll but not something that can't be fixed

posted about a year ago

I think aside from Aspas being no.1, the rest of them can be debated.

posted about a year ago

SEN v TSM had history to it and where the "bm" started. You need nuance for it to be funny

posted about a year ago

do we consider china as APAC despite being two different leagues or not?

posted about a year ago

ngl, if EG win here, they will likely win champs so...damn the bad ending is about to happen.

EG really putting down all the asian teams 💀 we need the main character resurgence arc to kick in next year

posted about a year ago

why are we acting like Kang Kang fell off? He had one bad series throughout the event so far.

posted about a year ago

so ur saying this is like a game of rock papers scissors?

posted about a year ago

EDG didnt get aim-diffed against EG, they got strat diffed completely.

I hope EDG recovers for tomorrow though

posted about a year ago

The bracket flips, so if EG beats DRX, DRX is playing FNC and not EDG.

posted about a year ago

Im confused, isn't it looking like -FNS and -Ardiis in scrims?

posted about a year ago

Are we gonna ignore how dominant he looked against Giants and his performance against PRX? One quiet series against EG and now he's overrated?

posted about a year ago

Why wouldn't EDG have a chance? If anything, this match up is potentially in favor of EDG but it will be a close one.

posted about a year ago

LMAO, FNC as Bayern because of Bundesliga LMFAO.

posted about a year ago

They didn't really lose in map veto, they just couldn't win key rounds on ascent today. Lotus is also their best map so Loud just came much more prepared today.

posted about a year ago

tf does stats have anything to do with the mvp's awarded? He had like 3 mvps or something

posted about a year ago

I mean, Loud beating FNC, while unexpected, doesn't mean the end for FNC. And FUT vs PRX had results about what I expected.

posted about a year ago

2023 ain't even over yet. Also, imo 2023 EDG > 2023 DRX > 2022 Zeta. And 2023 PRX > 2022 DRX (so far); iirc, DRX looked a tiny bit shakey before champions run.

posted about a year ago

Anyone denying FNC's performance this year afterwards is just baiting for reactions.

posted about a year ago

Sacy and saddhak don't even play the same roles as TenZ. Derke had more mvps that tournament and their team was just outclassed in firepower against sentinels. And scream? He still doesn't really look that great despite his mechanics.

posted about a year ago

I didnt discount 2022 at all, why would I suddenly discount 2023 in two years? There have been double the amount of agents since the game's release. It doesnt take much math to understand that a game becomes more complicated with more agents involved, but diminishing returns will eventually kick in.

And, why would I discount FNC's run? They have looked so dominant the entire year and ahead of everyone else.

posted about a year ago

I mean, players are much better now, no? And from Reykjavik to champs, a lot had changed. Reykjavik was a post-plant meta and that disappeared right after masters 2 (The reason why v1 dominated during qualifiers). Afterwards, Gambit started to lead the meta.

posted about a year ago

No, this is just my observations from watching Ignition series and onwards. It just isn't the same. TenZ has insane mechanics but absolutely wouldn't thrive the same way prominent duelists are now. He even admitted himself right now that he is more of an initiator player.

posted about a year ago

It had its own difficulties back then for sure, but it was still much simpler. Its like, Wardell became obsolete, not only because the operator got nerfed, but comps were starting to become adjusted to have a chance against operator plays. The scene now has household teams and cores because its more developed. Also, its been known that sentinels didn't practice very often and were winning because Sick and TenZ had insane mechanics.

Also, this was an era where you could still run Reyna and it wouldn't be that troll?

posted about a year ago

I mean, he dominated during an era where valorant was simpler and teams were not really developed yet. Like, it was only starting from last year and the end of 2021 where we began seeing a more developed scene and household teams.
