MIBR are only here because theyve had an easy run and gone against teams right as they have bad days. Once NRG,100T, and Lev get into their stride MIBR will be left in the dust aspas or not
not necessarily, aspas does carry them against these teams, while the overall MIBR team sucks, the Aspas x factor helps them get over the line
Kru are definitely better as a team, without a life performance from aspas they would not beat kru imo
It’s a life performance for any player except aspas. You cant rely on aspas to have a shit game to win, that’s an anomaly for him
youdidnt see it against sen not becuase its out of Aspas' usual level of play but because aspas was completely shut down against sen on both sides.
On pearl if you pay more attention aspas keeps forcing OP over and over again and just isnt allowed to get any impact out of it by SEN. He gets one pick and SEN completely pivot off, or he gets droned and SEN dont even waste a single thought on him.
This is the kind of play youll see at the very top level and thats also the detriment of relying on a players star power, individuals can be countered against, it was the same thing that happened with FNC v Loud in Lockin tho they werent as effective at it
my point is that was the expected level of play for MIBR, they didnt deserve to lose any of those games, if anything Kru and Lev are not at a level yet where theyre good enough to not get knocked out by worse teams getting carried by star performance.
Aspas wasnt having a life game, that was just a typical good aspas game, especially considering his team wasnt really fragging which meant more kills for him
since vlr has such short memory, we forget that MIBR lost 2-0 against fucking 100T lmaoo. aspas just carried them a bit far against mid teams
Honestly, there's like 6 teams that look at the same level for the #3 spot. 100T, NRG, MIBR, LOUD, LEV, and KRU all could have made it to #3 had a couple things gone differently. Which makes americas look worse than it actually is cause all those teams just beat up on each other so no one knows who is actually good
I'd say these teams have the potential to be from low A to B tier but yeah most of them will probably end high B

Demon1 raze is kinda horrible, he got so many kill is simply because his aim is top class, not because his Raze utility usage to help get those kills

yeah idk tex and kingg are good, and demon1 looked a lot better in his last game which gives room for hope. If they can figure out their roles, I think Lev could for sure fight for top 3

If they have balance and decent gameplay but need to improve more, like 100T, Loud, or Kru. We can give hope for them to cook

A lot of americas is super close. Loud beat kru then lost to them. 100t beat mibr, nrg beat 100t, kru beat nrg, but mibr beat kru. It's just a big circle mess, c9 are on that level too.
Mibr had a lower bracket run from them all popping off. It wasn't the aspas show until yesterday and today they're falling apart. It happens. And sen are in better form than they have been all tournment

I think it's too early to call them top3, results will say that rn but they are a team that needs time to reach their full potential
Idk if it applies to KRÜ, in fact they shouldn't be in that position of "giving them time to prove themselves as a team", considering that they already have their "core" for more time, and also they have played together different times since Valorant started (Australs, Wygers, Leviatan).
If there's a team that already had time to prove themselves is KRÜ (which is in a baby steps stage), and for now their performance is a win after a shaky 2024.
edit: for the other teams, i can't say much because i haven't been following that much Valorant lately (besides KRU or Lev)
No, and it all boils down on how the season (and teams) usually work, teams start off slow and developing the meta, and usually teams with solid core chemistry and cohesion perform better short term, specially with simple comps like double duelist split and default abyss.
Once teams start building that chemistry and we get to that mid season where teams look solid it will be harder for them to get results by firepower alone. We saw that with LOUD last season where they couldn't do as good as they did in kickoff and will most definitely happen with bums in brazil

MIBR have certainly surpassed expectations by making it this far but I don't think they're even like top 5. They got steamrolled by infant 100 Thieves and their run has been considerably been easier since most of the top contenders already got knocked out. Not saying that the team isn't good, but just that I don't think they are even top 5 right now(but could be maybe in the future)
100T, LOUD, NRG, KRU and MIBR could all be number 3 on any given day, still feels too early to tell
Honestly Mibr went way far than expected, this is a good sign. This is the first official championship for Xenom and Cortezia, and they performed really well
The only big downgrade in this team is Nzr, I think he should retire already
