I completely understands why an org wouldn't want to pick him out of nowhere, I don't think he needs to prove himself because I'm pretty confident he is clearly good enough, but that opinion cannot be reasonnably shared by an org bc it indeed is too risky. I do also kinda agree w the commitment thing, but purely because he doesn't care anymore wether he plays in a pro league or not, it's not something he is too interested in
Really? And how will that change? Next year he will be a young talent and won't have had a catastrophic year at KC?
You're half correct tho, the reason he didn't get picked up is because the perception of him is not good rn, and a year off does not help, if anything it hurts.
The only way he can change that perception is playing, in tier 2.
(And yes the agent thing was a joke, but there's some truth to it, his agent pool is extremely weird and hard to fit in which makes it so that you can't just add him to a team, the team needs to be built taking him into account from the begging)
next year he won't be picked up neither because emea doesn't need him anymore, it's as simple as that. why would any org hire an old man who hasn't played in years when the whole region just proved it is filled w cracked duelist? You can't even sign him a several years long contract bc of the risk it implies considering his age
I do somewhat agree w the T2 thing, even tho I don't think it's completely true
Well if you don’t think he will get picked up in tier 1 we do agree
If he is not gonna get picked up, the only way to change that is to play somewhere else and unless bro wants to go to China the way of doing that is tier 2
Then the other angle to this, is he just shouldn’t compete again, which is fair, just not the point of this thread I guess
