you have to win the games you are given no matter who you face. For 100T and their situation winning mibr and then losing two in a row to sen and nrg is the same if they somehow avoided any strong teams and got like top 4 in the region. An org like 100T wants to win, they are paid to win, if they get top 12 or top 8 or top 6 in a region this shit is not enough
100T has been mid for fucking years atp. Asuna's a good player but at this point I think he just has a job as a duelist player bc everyone's blinded by nostalgia from the 2020-21 days when he was absolutely a top level duelist player when at this point in his career he's average at best. This team constantly has some problem, whether its they don't have the right players, or their coach can't implement a good system, and it just seems like there's a systemic issue with all of 100T esports ventures where they are doomed to be mid as fuck, their only successful venture has been their CoD teams, everything else ends up being dysfunctional (100T CSGO) or mid (everything else)
edit: saying this as a dude who's been watching 100T esports since 2019 at this point, I've seen every single iteration of this valorant team and every single one of them has been hyped up to oblivion and disappoints. The closest we came to success was Masters Berlin 2021 and we haven't come close since
On the one hand, you can't keep cycling through pros and coaches because that will be far too costly for the org. Boostio dropping a -30 is certainly not ideal regardless of whether it was to a good team or a terrible team, but they probably need to go back to the drawing board on some comps and strats if they're realising there are some huge gaps that get exploited by good counterplay.
On the other hand, I can understand the frustration of Nadeshot wanting to maybe switch things up since the most his org has claimed was VCT 2024 Stage 1 Americas. And honestly, they looked quite good at that point in time. However, if they cannot recapture the essence of that 100T, they need to rethink who is playing on the team. A lot of the time Asuna is catching heat especially since he is their longest-standing player, but maybe there are certain synergies just not working outside of just one player being considered heavily inconsistent.
Overall, I think Ryan's tweet is undermining the potential 100T feasibly have - they can win regionally, but now they're locked out compared to the best teams. You have to figure out how to get back into that inning to compete and attend at internationals.
That's like saying Top 2 teams that spend the most on players each region should expect to be top 2 in results instead of anything worse. Yeah swap Aspas to Asuna or Cryo's position and pay him 5 billion a month and see if 100T can perform better than G2 SEN NRG.

Did you watch their podcast? Nadeshot is aware he loses a ton of money on esports and only makes money from Merch but 100t still keep spending money on Valorant and CoD. "Not wasting money" isn't his goal. Bitching and lying are.
Did you see him 2 weeks ago flaming his CoD team for "taking foot of the pedal" and "being lazy" after ONE LOSS ONLY. then he lied and said "Of course I don't expect them to go undefeated". This is defamation and affects how future employers see the 100T players if they're accused "being lazy" for ONE LOSS and "not improving" although their current kick off form is better than last year's.
