human fall flat, plateup, stick fight: the game can be fun for a couple hours
also minecraft split screen is a load of fun lol

i have almost every jackbox and so i'll recommend some too
jackbox 8 - job job is a minigame where you make try and fill out job interview questions using a limited amount of words from user generated entries (my personall all-time favorite). also has poll mine / the wheel of enormous proportions which are both trivia based but are a bunch of fun though wheel of enormous proportions a little less if your friends are outrageously dumb. weapons drawn is also fun i think i havent played it in awhile.
jackbox 5 - has a rapping minigame that's a lot of fun. also has one where everyone designs an invention to solve a problem that was also decided by players
jackbox 4 - monster seeking monster is like a dating simulator where you have to text your friends to convince them to go out with you but there's deception and shit its hella fun probably #2 favorite for me. survive the internet is also included and that can be fun for a few.
jackbox 3 - tee-ko you design your own shirts with user generated images + slogans its a bunch of fun. quiplash is a classic. trivia murder party is also fun. guesspionage is a trivia game kind of its fun too.

those are my recommendations. you can also get them for free if you know where to look. i know it can be hard to decide and dont want to dump $20 on a couple good games each

For a shared tv screen, jackbox is a classic (I recommend jackbox 6, 7, or 8). You can also try airconsole (downloadable on phone) and pay for larger party game

The Quarry is a hilarious game in co-op mode. It's a playable cheesy horror movie

Everyone else already said it but jackbox is kinda just the answer. Maybe you can play smash but idk if that hits anymore.

in terms of things that haven't been said: among us (throwback), cod (iirc black ops 3 is good for split screen), and any racing game

Wait I got this game for free on epic games through their mystery free game thing. I have played a eayman adventures game on mobile but never on pc. Is it really fun even alone? I've never installed or touched it after getting it.

Castle crashers/Battleblock theater are classics (and nice if theres variance in the skill level of your group since its co-op)
Smash like games if peeps are fine with being pummeled by the one person who actually knows how to play 1v1s
Duck game is mindless fun
Invisigun is fun if you need something more slow paced (but still competitive) a couple hours in
Crawl is a pretty unique couch co-op game
