i feel like people wildly underestimated how poor SEN were performing in the America's run.

am i trolling to think that the g2 vs sen grands was a low quality match on all maps from both teams? that shit was not that entertaining nor to the standard that the hype set it up to be. lots of fumbles, lack of team sync and just generally lots of wtf rounds.

i feel like na fans generally weren't watching pacific, which you can't really blame ig. coming from a sen fan, i am not surprised by how it played out and expected them to get slammed from DRX.

g2 is the answer... in americas only lol. internationally i expect them to also get steam rolled in the following matches just based on CN and Pacific showings

(also EDG is the future 2025 dynasty)

It's not that Americas is getting worse

Its apac/china is getting even better.

Americas just cant keep up and this will be the year for asian teams in general

(ik that this isnt the right thread to post this in but i need to say this take somewhere)

dude. its been two games, both of which have been china/apac best team vs the second seed of emea/americas. They've been caught up for a while and I've heard some iteration of this take about them rapidly improving and leaving us in the dust every year. we'll probably get to a more equal playing field, but i really don't see any evidence for emea/americas not being able to keep up.

People are grasping at straws too much rn. We're literally just 2 maps in, a tiny sample size which is borderline meaningless. Yeah SEN got doo doo'd on but there's no point rushing to any conclusions (whether Pacific got better, Americas looks worse, China got better, etc.) At least wait until the end of the tourney, and even then I think there's not enough sample size and we should still wait longer till next international event to draw any conclusions on region strengths.

Americas grand finals was just one sided for either team that won the map
