What was the point of the Omen nerf
hes a good agent (not broken) but its not like his one ways were breaking the game to the point he needed a nerf
its also funny they nerfed Omen before Neon

Best flash in the game + one of the best repositioning tools + smokes that could one way almost anything put him well above most controllers

just look at azir in league
if they care so much about balancing agents and having a diverse meta they should buff viper harbor and skye
out of those only skye needs a buff imo.
viper has her place in the meta and harbor is criminally underrated.

no one plays viper in ranked. even when breeze was in the map pool the last time, people were locking other controllers

the opposite is true for sage for example, where sage has actually incredible winrate in low elo

Good idea ! A site take takes around 10-15s. Wich leaves the omen smoke 15 to regenerate, let’s just flood in before waiting for any teammates or utility.
Like, it does not work. You litteraly have to win gunfights in that condition, you can’t counterstrat it.
thats a team issue if your teammates take too long to rotate that you arent ready to retake 15 seconds after the CT smoke disappears
my point is litteraly proven, because having good teammte have the same chance of going against omen ° secondary smokes like clove omen and clove smoke first and omen can just one-way until bomb goes off

you just use utility to get through it. like any other piece of utility in valorant, it is traded with other utility to nullify it.

I'm a controller main, I need to pray to god to have teammates that know how to flash, and it's still an extemely hard spot to get out of, someone can play hell, short and right cubby. 3 people looking at you point blank when you use a flash and still kill you is not funny. It was broken.
He needed a nerf to make space for other controllers. He was used way more than any other controller
The only controller who has the perfect balance of playmaking and support at the controller role, omen has the most versatile play style range of any agent in the game and he's not the Hardest agent to pick up in the controller role especially considering the easier controllers come with severe drawbacks to their smoking capabilities (brim doesn't have rechargeable smokes, the rest of clove's kit isn't that versatile) and the other more complex controllers don't offer much by the way of individual playmaking outside of lurks (u can't capitalize of ur own astra util, viper is viper and harbour is walls, walls and more walls with imo the worst versatility in the game)
Omen on the other hand is the only agent who can play of his own ulti consistently and not fall of on the support front, oh and having the best nearsight in the game doesn't hurt
he was having chamber levels of pickrate on the map pool by the end of the season lol
He got nerfed due to high pick-rate in pro scene. Kinda sucks that his one-ways (the key personality trait of his smokes) got nerfed. 5-star Astra will eventually overtake some of these picks on maps like Pearl and Abyss. Same thing happened to Viper who was viable on nearly every map in the pool at her prime.
they nerfed the only fun controller left to play lol
