He joins former teammates solo and HSK to lead the team in 2025.
peri and solo have a long history together. The two were long-time teammates in Counter-Strike, dating back all the way to 2010. They also had a brief period of playing alongside HSK in 2017. In 2020, the pair moved to VALORANT together with NUTURN NUTURN Inactive and were Korea's first representative on the global stage. After 2021, both retired as players and moved to the coaching role. peri coached Incheon On Sla2ers Incheon On Sla2ers Korea Rank #29 VaNish XirZz for a season, but eventually reunited with solo as a coach for Dplus Esports Dplus Esports Korea Rank #17 NGen Lee Jae-hong (이재홍) Bangnan Jung Min-u (정민우) RedLight Kim Eun-soo (김은수) kAyle Jung Soo-yong (정수용) Only1 Park Dan-il (박단일) . The pair led Dplus to win Challengers Korea in 2023, but fell in the group stage of Ascension. Solo would then move to Gen.G, where he helped lead a Masters winning campaign. peri remained on Dplus for 2024, taking the reins of head coach, but the team fell from their spot atop Korea, and would not return for Ascension. Shortly after the season, peri was released from the team, leaving him to once again join solo in Gen.G.
