Why don't EMEA fans like to hear the truth?

I get downvoted every time I talk about EMEA being a weaker league than the Americas. Like, isn't that a fact? In the last 2 years, despite the international comparison between the two regions, Americas has constantly been in better positions, winning more titles, etc.

To summarize: EMEA > NA, However, NA + SA > EMEA

EU fan here. Yes, we are quite behind and I'm not hesitant to admit that at all. Ignore the baiters. On the flip side, with the roster's that have been curated so far we should be more competitive.

EMEA is just better.
For 2 years in a row, we've had top 2 teams throughout the year, Fnatic 2023 and Heretics 2024.
What does Americas have? Champs 2023 and Masters Shanghai? Don't get me wrong, Americas is still the 2nd best region, but EMEA is able to dominate throughout a year and not just have 1 good tournament a year.

I agree, that wasn't my point though. I literally could not gaf about the region discourse but saying Americas is worse because they "only have one good tournament a year" is crazy. Americas was in 4 grand finals in a row, does that mean anything to you?

Lmao I forgot that fnatic played vs loud in the finals so I thought it was 3

I mean technically it was 5 but I didn't need to use prefranchised results to prove anything

Sentinels were irrelevant throughout 2022 and 2023, does that make them a shivty team? The fact that EMEA can go trophless in 2024 and still have some amount of trophies as Americuck just tells who has been playing catch up lmao

that's my point though, how can you say Americas is worse because they "only have 1 good tournament a year" when EMEA hasn't had multiple title contenders in years. Nothing to EMEA as a region, but it's pretty braindead to mention recent achievements as to why a region is worse than another when you haven't won

Bruh theres only 3 majors a year we had 2 in 2023. Thats 33% winrate over the last 2 years

It's almost 2025 and you're still calling Lockin a mickey mouse tournament.

Yeah, same for Americas. How does that make EMEA a stronger region than Americas? Especially when Americas has had more top 4 finishes along with more grand finals appearances along with a higher average placement than EMEA. I really don't give a fuck but make a better argument dude. If you reply to this, i'm not replying, you can say whatever, I could care less outside of that one point

Getting to two finals with 1 team is not better than a LAN win, two top 4s and a top 3 all by different teams.

Its the same shit every year

EMEA has 1 good team. Rest are dog. This year was TH. Last was FNC

because in the last 2 years, 6 trophies, both NA and EU have 2 each. They are really close imo but i think while EU had a better 2023 (2 wins > 2 finals + 1 win imo), NA had a better 2024 (1 win > 2 finals)

In 2023, EMEA was a one-team league. Literally only FNC had relevant results in internationals, and maybe Navi who got a top 4 in Lock In, but was horrible the rest of the year. In my opinion, EMEA 2024 is stronger overall than EMEA 2023.

Buddy the fact that despite Riots attempt of merging both South and North America and calling it Americas and then on the other hand banning CIS, aka the world best talents from competing especially when the CIS scene had finally started seeing Valorant as a relevant esport and still both regions are tied for trophies just tell you everything.

Americucks are wasting their golden years coz once CIS comebacks, making out of group stages will become difficult for you clowns lmao

You'll beg the best org in ur shvitty region to finally assemble someone like the Optic squad only to see them get 3-0 in the finals lmao

EMEA even more, have you seen the rosters?

They're loaded for sure with Vitality, Fnatic and KC all looking to be very powerful but IMO americas is more loaded. There's no really stand out WORST teams unlike last year with Furia/MIBR. The worst team on paper this year seems to probably be EG but even then, that Potter/yay combo has potential to do damage for sure, especially if they can find that perfect system, and there's still a mystery slot open? Though, I can't say the same about EMEA. You can provide me with some insight if you'd like :D

EMEA > NA, However, NA + SA > EMEA

horrid bait

NA owns that shitty region which is why they have to rely on our talent to win
