Why are you so against Flor getting a direct chance of playing in tier 1?

When Karon and Primmie got picked up from ranked, it was ok, it was hype for yall even. When Demon1 got picked up from tier 3, yall even gave Demon1 a chance

Why is it so different when the player is from GC? I get that the Shopify gets beaten up by pub teams, but the talent is there. The top players talk about how impressive Flor's mechanics are, and yes, she overheats, but even the best challenger players do that

I'm not asking you to rate her highly, at the end of the day, she's a rookie from tier 3, and she has to prove herself, but I'm asking for you to have a small portion of faith

I think it's fucked that in big 2024 people still judge a player's capacity based on their sexual orientation (because a lot of the hate is just blatant transphobia and misogyny)

Edit: I'd appreciate if you gave critical thinking instead of downvoting, because then, you're the one looking stupid here

If she does well she might be on a BBL Elite or GX Cloud situation, where she performs really well but struggles to win because of her team

But I think that her performing well should be good enough for her and GC. But yeah, at the end of the day, replacing kaajak is filling in huge shoes

Up until this point there has been no convincing argument for why Flor should be in T1 over other T2 prospects. It's really that simple. People get rubbed the wrong way when Flor is lauded as the best pickup for a T1 team when other T2 talent is more deserving of the opportunity. People act like Flor deserved tier 1 because of how they play in GC, but that's irrelevant considering the low level of play in GC compared with tier 2. Flor probably hit #1 Radiant, but NA rank 1 doesn't mean anything either when guys like Curry get it so easily.

But considering Flor trialed with Apeks and was good enough to be picked up, I'm looking forward to seeing how things go. Getting picked up over Cned and other Turkish duelists is a risky move for an Ascension team that's fighting to keep their spot.

You can't say that when this year in EMEA there's 17 new rookies. I feel like almost every player from VCL that deserved to play in tier 1, is playing in it right now

And who else are you going to sign? cNed? elllement? Izzy? I'd rather go all in and gamble on a new prospect like Flor

When you sign "safe picks" like Liquid or FURIA, you become a mediocre team. I think that it's awesome for a team to sign Flor only based on a hunch

She just needs to control herself in-game. Few overheats and over aggro plays lead her in bad situations, which were forgiven in GCC.

In T1 it won't happen she most likely will get punished for those plays, but yeah it might take time to adapt but with her mechanical skills she can do stuff in T1.

Just needs some time. You don't know until you see. Also her being in good team and good team environment is necessary to push out her full potential.

Flyuh is a good igl. Koalanoob is riskier but he was also pretty good in t2. I'll give you flor though.
