They have added Xavier "flyuh" Carlson, Dom "soulcas" Sulcas, and Dawid "Filu" Czarnecki in addition to returning members Bogdan "sheydos" Naumov and Grzegorz "grubinho" Ryczko. They have also confirmed Harry "Gorilla" Mepham, previously of Team Vitality Team Vitality Europe Rank #1 trexx Nikita Cherednichenko Derke Nikita Sirmitev Kicks Kimmie Laasner Sayf Saif Jibraeel Less Felipe de Loyola Basso , to be their head coach.

KOI has struggled to be competitive in VCT EMEA. They have placed in the bottom two teams in both 2023 and 2024 regular seasons, and have yet to qualify to any playoff stages, much less an international tournament. Their lack of success has led to a player and personnel shakeup ahead of 2025. Having removing three of their players, including their in-game leader, as well as their coaching staff, sheydos and grubinho are the only familiar faces from 2024.

KOI's new in-game leader, flyuh, comes not from EMEA, but North America. For the past two years, flyuh has played for Moist x Shopify Moist x Shopify Inactive Pa1nt Amarri Peak Spaz Adam Laamoumi Paincakes Jake Hass BcJ Brendan Jensen brawk Brock Somerhalder in Challengers NA, leading them to be a top team in the league. However, in both years, they have fallen just short of reaching Ascension, placing third in each of the playoffs. Joining KOI, he will make his debut on the VCT tier one stage.

soulcas is one of the most storied players in EMEA, being a founding member of Team Liquid Team Liquid Europe Rank #12 paTiTek Patryk Fabrowski kamyk Maks Rychlewski nAts Ayaz Akhmetshin Keiko Georgio Sanassy kamo Kamil Frąckowiak . He accomplished a lot with Liquid, winning EMEA in 2023 and being a perennial international attendee. After his time with Liquid ended in 2023, he joined the tier two scene with Apeks Apeks Europe Rank #3 florescent Ava Eugene hype Tautvydas Paldavicius MOLSI Michał Łącki AvovA Auni Chahade batujnax Mehmet Batu Özaslan in 2024. Along with a number of VCT veterans, soulcas helped redeem Apeks from their 2023 Ascension loss and earned the organization a spot in the EMEA league. However, along with kaajak , he would leave the team to explore options with other teams, landing him a spot on KOI.

Filu has been toiling about in the EMEA tier two scene since 2020. Despite his history in the scene, he has never been able to break into the upper echelons of competition. Most recently, he was the duelist for the DSYRE DSYRE Inactive caydeN Yari Olmi Tag Alessandro Voci wackie Rikardo Birjukov waddle Wadir Taraki team that dominated the Italian VCL. After easily qualifying to Ascension, they would go an even 2-2 in their group. Unfortunately, this would not be enough to make it out of their group. Filu will get his first shot at VCT with KOI.

This new roster will make their debut at the KCX4: Forever Rivals tournament.
